Valid driver's license. Recent experience working directly with diverse groups of clients, co-workers and community agencies in a criminal justice and/or human services setting to accomplish collaborative and individual goals.
Recent experience providing high volume case management supervision and documenting case activities on an on-going basis in a fast paced criminal justice and/or human services setting. Experience providing counseling and targeted intervention to criminal justice and/or human services clients on an ongoing basis in a fast paced, high volume setting. Experience making referrals to service/program providers and to management for review.
Experience gathering information, creating and presenting reports to criminal justice &/or judiciary entities, administrative officials, courts or the Parole Board. Demonstrated skill in the use of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, and Excel. The selected candidate must be eligible and have the ability to obtain required VCIN certification.
Prefer Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in criminal justice or a related human services field or equivalent applicable training or experience. Prefer experience making field &/or home visits to clients.
Prefer experience keying data into a case management or automated record system such as VACORIS, Badge, etc. Prefer experience in completing risk assessments and developing case plans. Prefer awareness of Evidence Based Practices.
