This position is an integral part of the repair department. Primary responsibility is to repair handpieces and small equipment, provide quotes to customers, and maintain adequate repair parts inventory to ensure timely turnaround.


  • Repair handpieces and small equipment in accordance with ProRepair's processes and quality guidelines.

  • Evaluate, estimate and process handpieces and small equipment that come in for repair.

  • Maintain adequate inventory to complete repairs within ProRepair's stated turnaround time by keeping track of current inventory and placing orders as needed.

  • Contact customers with repair estimates as requested and obtain approval for repairs.

  • Properly package and send handpieces and small equipment for return delivery.

  • Prepare inventory usage and other reports as required/requested by manager.

  • Input repair orders into invoicing system.

  • Attend conventions as necessary to promote ProRepair's services to current and potential customers.

  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

  • Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.

  • Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.


Minimum 2 years experience with electronic or small equipment repair.

Ability to work with small components, analyze and solve problems, strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, professional demeanor, basic computer skills, good verbal & written communication skills in English/Spanish

Obtains a baseline strip each shift on all monitored patients. 3. Replaces electrode pads, wires and batteries as needed. 4.Assures that all emergency equipment is cleaned and checked. 5.Provides patients with assistance in performing the activities of daily living. * Provides equipment/supplies for and appropriately assists patients with oral and personal hygiene. * Prepares patients for meals/snacks/liquids and assists with feeding, as needed. * 6.Assists in health care team's physical/psychological assessment of patient. * Measures and records patient's Temperature/Pulse/Respiration (TPR), blood pressure, height, weight, intake/output and bowel movement, as appropriate. * Collects required specimens; e.g., urine, feces, sputum. * Reports any observable changes in patient's condition, treatment results, and/or patient/family concerns to the registered professional nurse. * 7.Performs various selected diagnostic tests and prescribed treatments consistent with established procedures under supervision of registered nurse including but not limited to: * Applying simple dressings; Discontinuing intravenous peripheral therapies; Performing electrode application and EKG; Obtaining blood sugar results and informs nurse; Assisting with the insertion of Foley catheters; Cleansing pressure injuries; Applying buck traction to patient; and Assisting patients with elimination, as required. * 8.Participates in health care team's responsibility to assure patient safety. * Responds to any patient's call bell and/or emergency light. * Recognizes unsafe acts/conditions and corrects and/or reports same, as appropriate. * Uses side rails, restraints, gerichair and appropriately positions patients. * Transports patients. * Responds to fire, evacuation, and internal/external emergencies and drills. * 9.Functions effectively within the organizational structure. * Accepts assignment and seeks clarification as needed; * Carries out assignments; * Reports patient care observations and findings to RN regularly; * Participates as an integral part of the nursing team in assuming additional duties and responsibilities; and * Maintains competence by attending in-service education programs. 10.Performs related duties, as required. Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent, required. * Minimum two (2) years direct patient care experience, required. * Successful completion of a Basic ECG/EKG Interpretation course, preferred. * Must Successfully complete Site Telemetry/ EKG training program and Nursing Assistant course. * Ability to operate cardiac monitors and EKG machine, required. * Ability to communicate effectively, and follow written and/or oral instructions.
