Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidder's conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions.

  • Selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts.

  • Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.

  • Ability to administer resulting subcontracts, ensuring that all requirements are executed in accordance with the scope of work and delivery schedules.

  • Preparation of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and Memorandums of Agreement, preparation and management of internal "Step" reviews of new opportunities and formal customer proposal preparation.

  • Ability to analyze and evaluate subcontractor proposals, negotiate deviations from work statements, schedule, and/or terms and conditions, while working closely with the Program Management team.

  • Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures A complete understanding and application of FAR-based procurements principles, concepts, practices, and standards.

  • Technical/Procurement experience relating to Enclosures and Consoles for Military applications. Other desirable experience would be casting knowledge related to Sand & Investment types.

  • SAP experience.

  • Prior Aerospace working experience.

  • Electronic Component/Power Supplies parts procurement experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 6 Years of experience in supply chain and business management or related experience

  • Strong writing and communication skills. Expertise in Word, Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of SAP a plus.

Knowledge of; U.S. Government contracting and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS), with specific working knowledge of Parts 15 (Contracting by Negotiation) and 31 (Contract Cost Principles and Procedures); Cost Accounting Standards (CAS); and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit procedures

The Sr. Trainer will work closely with other project-level staff and utilizes knowledge of the organization's clinical and/or business requirements Epic application capabilities and his or her technical skills to implement and support training for the Epic application as well as recommend build of the training environment. All members of the training team should have experience with adult education and UVA Medical Center operations. * Demonstrate strong understanding of system to help direct design and train developed curriculum content * Provide strong instructional facilitation and technical knowledge and support to Revenue Cycle training activities. * Possess and / or develop organizational knowledge and provide operational support in the application area. * Exhibit strong communication skills to facilitate implementation training tasks within the application as well coordination across applications for integrated workflows. * In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. Position Compensation Range: $27.84 - $44.54 Hourly MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in adult education including responsibility for needs assessment development and implementation and evaluation of effectiveness of education program required. Experience in information systems or healthcare within the specific discipline is preferred. Licensure: Required to pass Epic Credentialing Panel in two attempts within three weeks. Credentialing within the specific discipline is required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require walking some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
