Roles and Responsibilities
Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidder's conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions.
Selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts.
Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
Ability to administer resulting subcontracts, ensuring that all requirements are executed in accordance with the scope of work and delivery schedules.
Preparation of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and Memorandums of Agreement, preparation and management of internal "Step" reviews of new opportunities and formal customer proposal preparation.
Ability to analyze and evaluate subcontractor proposals, negotiate deviations from work statements, schedule, and/or terms and conditions, while working closely with the Program Management team.
Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures A complete understanding and application of FAR-based procurements principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
Technical/Procurement experience relating to Enclosures and Consoles for Military applications. Other desirable experience would be casting knowledge related to Sand & Investment types.
Prior Aerospace working experience.
Electronic Component/Power Supplies parts procurement experience.
Bachelors degree and 6 Years of experience in supply chain and business management or related experience
Strong writing and communication skills. Expertise in Word, Excel.
Knowledge of SAP a plus.
Knowledge of; U.S. Government contracting and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS), with specific working knowledge of Parts 15 (Contracting by Negotiation) and 31 (Contract Cost Principles and Procedures); Cost Accounting Standards (CAS); and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit procedures
