PRN Registered Nurse

Pay

$35.80- $41.77, depending on experience and qualifications

Plus shift premium of $1.00/ hour for 2nd shift and $2.00/ hour for 3rd shift

Schedule

Flexibility is key for this role as shifts and hours will vary. This position will cover for other nurses as needed on either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts. The department is closed one hour before sunset on Friday until one hour after sunset on Saturdays.

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Employee Health Services department. Your dynamic role encompasses not only delivering exceptional care, but also responding to medical emergencies, first-aid and performing post-offer physical examinations. This role is also responsible for providing case management for Workers' Compensation claims, assessments for return to work and assisting in health-related programs. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

• Working as liaison with the safety department

• Administering drug/alcohol tests as necessary

• Coordinating and participating in various health programs

• Securing medical files and maintaining regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years nursing experience

• Current Tennessee RN License

• CPR certified

• Strong organization skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively

• Customer service-oriented

• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and handle frequent interruptions

• Proficient computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• COHN or COHN-S certification Case Management certification
