Weekly pay with direct deposit Flexible schedule Work as many or as few hours as you choose Free continuing education Variety of assignments, procedures, and treatments Weekend and evening opportunities One to one patient care Joint Commission Accredited Responsibilities Work cooperatively with PT to implement treatment and care plan specific to the client Communicate continuously with Therapist about the home environment, especially as it related to fall risk and intervention and home safety Report clients response to treatment or changes in condition to the Physical Therapist Treat clients, family, and staff with courtesy and respect Requirements Graduated from a Physcial Therapy Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation council for Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or predecessor organization Successfully completed a period of supervised fieldwork experience required by the recognized educational institution where the applicant met the academic requirement of the educational program State licensure in state where care is being provided Abide by Physical Therapy Code of Ethics and demonstrated knowledge about and will deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with PTA standards Appropriate experience as a certified Physical therapist assistant Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
