PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (1 Shift Per Week) Sombrillo Nursing & Rehab

Sombrillo Nursing & Rehabilitation, an integral part of Los Alamos Retirement Community, is currently seeking qualified and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide care for our skilled nursing residents. Our small, (60 resident capacity), home-like, recently renovated senior living campus offers a full spectrum of care to our residents.

Shift Differentials Per Hour: M-TH Nights $2.50, F-SU Days $3.00, F-SU Nights $3.50)

PRN Rate $20.00 per hour plus shift differentials

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bowl and bladder functions, ear and eye care, transfer and mobility, observation for safety and comfort
• Provide a caring and nurturing environment in which each resident feels comfortable, safe and important
• Assist resident as directed for proper welcome and check- in upon admission
• Assist resident as directed for proper discharge
• Completes and records temperature, pulse and respirations, weigh and measure residents, perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures
• Observes and reports changes in skin condition

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Current certification as Certified Nurse Assistant
• Experience working in a skilled nursing or sub-acute setting
• Organized
• Self-Motivated
• Ability to focus on the task at hand
