About the Job We need you to fill the role of a Private Swim Instructor. This is a Part-Time position. You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities:
Prepare swim lesson plans to meet the goals of each swimmer. Communicate directly with swim lesson participants and their families to schedule lessons, and share participant's progress following each lesson. Proactively communicate with members regarding space designated for lessons.
Redeem lessons in JCC's CRM system upon completion. Maintain participant records and provide data to the Aquatics Coordinator. Adapt lessons to participant age, physical ability, and interests.
Ensure the safety of swim lesson participants. Teach lessons with enthusiasm, warmth, and professionalism. Effectively communicate progress with participant following each lesson, or with parents regarding their child’s progress.
Arrive to on time, as scheduled. Requirements: Must be at least 15 years of age. American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification is preferred, and Current CPR/AED/First Aid Pediatric and Adults certification is required.
