JobSummary:

Under administrative direction,uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experienceto work with a variety of financial products, including public and private debtand equity financings. The candidate will lead/assist in the creation ofreferral agreements, approval memos, deal calendars, and other material asrequired. The Analyst will contribute and generate ideas during theentire transaction process and will work independently on difficult assignmentsthat are broad in nature requiring originality and ingenuity with appreciablelatitude for un-reviewed actions or decisions. The candidate will beresponsible for leading multiple large projects with significant scope andimpact.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops financial models to assess debt andequity transactions.

  • Evaluates investment opportunities whichincludes (but is not limited to) understanding asset valuation, investmentstructure, market opportunity, and other investment metrics across a widevariety of industries.

  • Provides valuable input to private markettransactions, equity offerings, valuations, private placements, funddocumentation, and capital market solutions.

  • Researches, analyzes, presents, and documentsdrafting elements of a developing transaction.

  • Develops client presentations.

  • Interacts with financial advisors, clients,investment bankers, senior management, and internal and external productsponsors. Follows general current events in respective industries and keepcolleagues informed about critical issues in the news relevant to current and potentialinvestments and clients.

  • Maintains files related to active andprospective deals. Maintains group databases including a Deal Database and

Weekly Status Reports.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities asassigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge,Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

  • Fundamental concepts, practices, and proceduresof private market investment opportunities.

  • Fundamental investment concepts, practices, andprocedures used in the securities industry.

  • Financial markets and products.

Skill in:

  • Communicating effectively, both orally and inwriting.

  • Assessing and explain events in the market.

  • Solving complex problems and the ability tothink independently regarding market ideas.

  • Operating standard office equipment and usingrequired software applications, including Microsoft Office and establisheddatabases.

Ability to:

  • Gather information, identify linkages and trendsand apply findings to reports.

  • Attend to detail while maintaining a big pictureorientation with minimal supervision.

  • Remain cognizant of our commitment to dailyworkflow and regulatory compliance during high volume activity.

  • Organize, manage, and track multiple detailedtasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced workenvironment.

Educational/PreviousExperience

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.)
  • Experience structuring,developing, and executing deals/private placements for institutional investors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Assists in all aspects of the Institutional sales process. * Assists in the creation of client proposals, investment policystatements, and eVestment reports. * Perform competitive analysis ahead of prospect meetings. * Maintain an updated sales pipeline. * Maintain an efficient CRM database to assist with the distributionefforts. * Support Sales Reporting for Management. * Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
