The Private Funds Product Analyst serves as the Investment Product Group's (IPG) project and risk representative and works closely with the administrative, accounting, compliance and operational departments supporting BBH's private funds business. The Private Funds Product Analyst manages large scale IPG projects related to client/RM experience and client eligibility recertification, evaluates the risks and controls of the fund onboarding process, develops and implements process enhancements, oversees the new fund launch process with BBH Investor Services, and coordinates deliverables related to these efforts with other members of the IPG team. This position is also responsible for managing all aspects of onboarding and reporting for single product sale investors within the BBH Investments, LLC regulatory framework.
Oversee large scale projects initiated by IPG with respect to client experience enhancements, centralized portfolio management initiatives for private funds and recertification of client eligibility standards.
Responsible for defining and tracking project deliverables, implementing necessary enhancements and organizing resources to meet project deadlines in collaboration with Systems, various support teams in Private Banking and Investor Services.
Work and build relationships with key stakeholders outside of IPG to increase effectiveness/productivity.
2.Risk control and process enhancement
Maintain and update IPG departmental procedures manual and risk control self-assessment.
In conjunction with the RCSA, identify control gaps and to develop and propose remediation plans to senior manager.
Work closely with PB Risk, CAT and senior manager to identify automation opportunities in Wealth Strategies onboarding process.
Work with other members of IPG team to incorporate revisions to WS onboarding checklist.
Oversee and document ad hoc processes related to manager and client capital call fundings.
Monitor IPG record retention schedule and coordinate document archiving and destruction.
Serve as point of contact for internal and external audit inquiries.
3.Coordinate fund launches/liquidations and management of single product sale investor onboarding
Enhance fund launch checklists with additional items identified upon each new launch, which includes:
Completing InServ account opening documentation and providing legal documents to InServ.
Coordinating fund launch deliverables with PB operations teams.
Troubleshooting reporting issues with InServ and PBS Systems.
Manage investor onboarding process for single product sale clients.
Maintain trade blotter, review prospective investor questionnaires and marketing materials requests.
Control distribution of fund offering documents.
Review executed subscription agreements and work with relationship managers to correct as needed.
Organize single product sale documents for BBHI review and ensure entire onboarding process is in compliance with BBHI regulations.
Ensure coverage on all items on fund liquidation checklist.
Coordinate liquidation logistics with guidance from senior manager.
4.Team leadership support
Serve as first line resource for other team members' inquiries and manage team email box to ensure requests are responded to in a timely manner.
Coordinate fund launch and liquidation deliverables with other team members and ensure team is meeting deadlines.
Provide direction, support and training for junior team members.
Pursue self-development in managerial skills.
Provides coverage for other team members in matters of subscription/redemption processing and portal maintenance when required.
3+ years of relevant alternative investment administration or project management experience
Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
Ability to analyze complex issues and make sound decisions
Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
Proficient in managing multiple projects at once

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with a commitment to success
