Job Summary

The Private Client Services Sr. Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and client services team functions for all Private Bank Client transactions needs, across all Commercial and Consumer Products. Ensures that all operations and transactions of the department are consistent with established policies and procedures and that all regulatory adherence requirements are achieved. Responsible for the maintenance and supervision of all departmental workflows, including proactively coordinating, managing and monitoring operations by administering and enforcing all policies, procedures and activities as required. This role will manage across locations and provide leadership support to the Private Bank Client team and will often interact with leadership within the Private Client Group.

Compensation Pay Range: $99,731.70 - $132,144.50 - $164,557.30

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads a team that executes, monitors, tracks and reviews all departmental transactions, including wire transfers, book transfers, opening accounts, account review(s), and deposits in accordance with Bank standards and procedures.

  • Assists with departmental initiatives and enterprise execution projects.

  • Performs internal review of all workflows to ensure adherence to Bank standards and ensures that department functions are compliant and in order as required.

  • Implements and manages operational plans and identifies operational issues that require follow-up or investigation.

  • Manages day to day workflow and observe the service team to ensure superior client service is delivered.

  • Works with senior leaders, Private Client Services and Operations leaders to monitor changes to Bank's operational policy and procedures and formulates and implements workflow(s) to ensure adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.

  • Assists in the development of strategic plans for operational activity by conducting periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance and functional procedures are followed.

  • Assesses compliance or operational risks and assists leadership in developing risk management strategies.

  • Disseminates written policies and procedures related to operational activities and conducts periodic training when needed for all staff members.

  • Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.

  • Can provide support to other managers in the absence of the Department head or unit manager.

  • Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures.

  • Will provide detailed servicing and support across Commercial and Consumer accounts and products requiring knowledge of both servicing SLA's, product details and applicable regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or marketing is preferred.

  • Minimum five (5) years relevant banking experience.

  • Minimum of three (3) years Banking leadership/management experience.

  • Detailed knowledge of Commercial and Consumer products and processes.

  • Detailed knowledge of consumer banking regulations including Reg CC, Reg E, OFAC.

  • Extensive knowledge of Bank products, policies and procedures, regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • Proficient in MSWord, Excel, NYCB operational systems including DNA, Nautilus, and related software applications preferred.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills (ECET Model).

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage and coach staff.

  • Ability to travel occasionally within the Beverly Hills area.
