Salesforce is looking to hire an Analyst of Privacy Compliance and Communications to join the Global Privacy team. The successful candidate will have excellent cross-functional partnership and communication skills. The role will focus on embedding privacy requirements into business operations and will partner with Legal, Engineering, Security, Product and Business teams to build strategies and drive execution of key data privacy and protection initiatives and coordination of related activities. The role will report to the Senior Manager of the Privacy Compliance and Communications team and work very closely with the Global Privacy team.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and coordinating the process and procedures for privacy-related inquiries and complaints, including from external parties.

  • Help establishing and maintaining a cross-functional team of "privacy advocates" to execute a common data privacy and protection vision across the Company.

  • Work with the Privacy team to roll out privacy requirements in partnership with Marketing, Employee Success, Enablement and IT by translating privacy policies and standards into procedures and guidelines.

  • Developing and delivering cross-functional training on privacy legal obligations.

  • Promoting and maintaining the program for privacy impact assessments.

  • Monitoring business compliance with established privacy requirements.

  • Partnering with Sales, Marketing, Employee Success, and IT to build and monitor new operational practices across the Company to ensure adherence to privacy program requirements.

  • Maintaining metrics and controls for the Global Privacy programs.

  • Assistance with privacy content creation for Salesforce's strategic privacy messaging, including for internal and external privacy events, privacy website and white papers and trainings.

  • Develop positive, strong relationships with multiple cross-functional partners across Salesforce to accelerate the team's effectiveness and ability to deliver through complex, cross-functional tasks.

  • Maintain clear communication with all teams on a regular basis, through regular, recurring meetings to stay current with the needs of the business.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • 3+ years of direct experience in operations and/or technology services roles.

  • Must be organized and possess a high level of knowledge of privacy and data protection and privacy operations (or strong willingness to learn about it).

  • Strong project planning and management skills; ability to break down complex problems into manageable goals.

  • Self-starter, results oriented, entrepreneurial style

  • Strong customer-service orientation toward internal clients and external customers.

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills; able to communicate and effectively influence outcome at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to use personal influence to build positive working relationships with subject matter experts

  • Bachelors degree, Masters Degree a plus

  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), or equivalent professional certification is not required, but preferred

  • Sense of humor

In this role, you will assist the Compliance Team in establishing an effective and efficient compliance program for customer-driven order flow. This role will involve assisting multiple teams within the Firm during our application process to become a Finra member. Your role also will include monitoring, surveillance, and inquiry/exam responses for that customer business. In addition, you will serve as a compliance "generalist" to support Jump in all aspects of compliance, wearing multiple hats within the organization to promote compliance with a variety of regulatory requirements that impact the company and its operations. What You'll Do: * Monitor trading activity using a variety of real time and periodic alerts and leverage various reports to assess Jump's activity in a variety of contexts and analyze and compile data into meaningful summaries, update files and identify trends in a timely manner; making findings available for the team. * Maintain accurate, organized, and current records and documentation in a manner consistent with the Department's needs that allow Jump to quickly respond to any inquiry or exam. * Manage registration processes for Jump and individuals as appropriate based on exchange memberships and review that employees are appropriately licensed and complete necessary continuing education requirements. * Prepare and deliver educational programs such as new hire orientation, annual compliance meeting and trader orientations and continually evaluate educational programs and make continuous improvements as necessary. * Maintain and review policies, procedures, and practices to help ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry best practice and recommend changes to existing policies and procedures as necessary in response to business and regulatory changes or ideas to improve efficiency. * Review potential counterparties for AML/KYC considerations. * Develop and assist others in developing surveillance reports and other compliance tools. * Investigate potential compliance issues with relevant Jump staff as necessary and document findings. * Monitor proposed regulations, comment letters, and enforcement actions and communicate the potential impact. * Establish regular communication with exchanges, regulators and brokers to maintain strong business relationships. * Other duties as assigned or needed. Skills You'll Need: * Prior experience with a broker dealer(s) conducting business with customers. Direct Finra or SEC experience a plus. * Experience in a variety of areas of regulatory compliance and risks related to trading in multiple jurisdictions. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent computer skills in MS Office applications. General experience with computer programming languages a plus. Experience with Splunk, SLQ and/or Python a plus. * Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. * Financial industry business knowledge. * Strong collaboration skills, good attitude, ability to interact comfortably with all roles in a project team. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and deadlines with strong attention to detail. * Bachelor's degree. * Reliable and predictable availability Jump Trading Chicago IL
