Job Description:

The Printed Wiring Board Analyst will work directly with all departments internally, as well as potential printed circuit board fabricators/manufacturers of PCB's. In this position, the PCB Analyst will review/analyze and recommend changes to ease and improve the development/inspection process. The PCB Analyst will aid the Supply Chain Buyer in the PCB vendor selection process. Upon arrival of a completed PCBA the PCB Analyst will provide support and perform Engineering validation tests.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure PCB / FPCB exchange data definition respecting efficiency, quality and lead-time targets.

  • Build BDF IDF Files as input data for electronic layout.

  • Complete generated equipped PCB.

  • Interact directly with vendor/manufacturer, Supply-chain, and Engineering.

  • Define/Update 2D Drawings.

  • Check layout from electronic department of PCB/FPCB.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 10 years actual experience.

  • BSEE or equivalent in the specified field.

  • Able to be on site (locally) as needed.

  • Active Secret Clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • IPC-A-610 Inspection Capable (minimum)

  • BGA analysis

  • Contamination analysis of PCB

  • PCB Failure analysis

  • PCB validation qualification

  • PCB cross-section multi-layer analysis

  • Flex circuit analysis
