Print/Apply

You will work onsite at Conagra Brands Imlay City, Michigan, location - Home of Vlasic Brand pickles, relish, and pepper products. You will operator the Case Label Application equipment. You will report to Production and Team Leaders. You will work afternoon shift regular hours 3:00 until 11:30 p.m. working overtime as scheduled. You will receive an hourly rate $18.77/hour plus $0.25/hour shift premium.

What will you do:

The Case Label Application Operator operates and maintains the Print & Apply units to support production needs. You will operate multiple pieces of equipment. You will set up equipment, load labels and ink ribbons. You will recognize and correct inaccuracies. You will monitor quality of the finished product to meet customer standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow standard work procedures.

• Load labels and ribbons on multiple Print & Apply units.

• Enter product code into Print & Apply unit.

• Run multiple Print & Apply units.

• Clean and maintain the Print & Apply unit.

• Must work with Quality assurance, Production and Team Leaders.

• Work safely and with accuracy.

• Ensure machines and surrounding areas are kept neat and sanitary.

• Adapt to changing situations.

• Train employees.

• Complete documentation to comply with Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Observe plant clean-up procedures and remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
