We are looking for Print to Mail Specialist for a NYC government project.
Tasks & Duties
Develop system design specifications
Coordinate and implement refinement of existing and new development for the Print to Mail solution
Develop, maintain, and enhance databases/information systems, by defining physical structures/organization of databases, datasets, and reorganizing database at appropriate intervals
Establish procedures for monitoring performance, implementing backup, recovery, and restart procedures
Conduct technical sessions and devise a solution for integration of a numerous SQL server SSIS packages into Print to Mail
Develop system documentation
Formulate technical documentation for all systems changes and enhancements, by defining/revising specifications, programs and operating procedures
Provide technical expertise and support to the end-users
Provide troubleshooting support for Print to Mail solution
Required Skills
Minimum 6 Years Strong client-side development experience using Angular, C#, .NET, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and related technologies
Minimum 6 Years Understanding of both Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile project methodologies.
Minimum 6 Years Experience with InfoPath Form development
Minimum 6 Years Experience with effectively prioritizing and escalating issues as required

We dream big, so our clients can dream bigger. the job The Senior Production Manager will work on-site or near-site at one of our new enterprise clients and is responsible for all aspects of direct mail production, purchasing, data management, and execution. This person will work with suppliers, internal team members, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are purchased and executed in a way that ensures quality and competitive pricing while overseeing and executing a high volume of complex projects. We are looking for someone who has a commanding knowledge of the direct mail industry and local supplier market, who is innovative and suggests production alternatives. responsibilities * Manage all aspects of direct mail production with vendors on behalf of the client, conferring with vendors concerning delivery timetables and maintaining current status of assigned projects at all times * Build relationships with clients and develop communication channels to ensure smooth workflow * Liaison between internal stakeholders, agencies and suppliers to ensure quality, on-time delivery within budget parameters * Gather job requirements and perform procurement and project management of direct mail campaigns or projects with understanding of the client's objectives * Manage the client's jobs on-budget, on-time and with the highest level of quality * Data segmentation, list manipulation, and writing lettershop instructions for complex direct mail campaigns * Enter all specifications into proprietary order management system (VALO), prepare request for bid specifications, and send to selected vendors * Maintain accurate price quotation data in VALO for all projects/vendors quoted * Investigate potential suppliers and recommend those most desirable based on knowledge of manufacturing limitations, supplier facilities and schedule availability * Develop program strategies which are both beneficial and economical for the client * Advise on economic formats, working with internal stakeholders and agencies to derive cost efficiencies for direct mail projects and/or campaigns * Analyze job revenue, cost, and profitability by job and/or project, as well as quarterly and yearly analysis and reporting * Work within established operating budgets and maintain daily tracking and analysis of benchmarking information * Proactively identify and present additional production solutions to continuously resell InnerWorkings to grow and generate account revenue * Train, mentor and work closely with production manager(s) * Ability to work with little to no direct supervision while still being part of a team requirements * 7+ years direct mail and commercial print buying, including offset printing (web, sheet-fed, continuous form, and inline finishing) and digital printing * 7+ years mailing services experience, including lettershop, postal, and mail logistics * Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience * Solid knowledge of paper manufacturing, types, and distribution channels * Detailed track record of successful print purchasing experience in a manufacturing, client, or agency environment * Proven project management skills * Experience negotiating job costs and schedules with suppliers and vendors * Highly proficient with MS Office software, especially Excel * Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed * Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy environments benefits At InnerWorkings we understand that your life extends beyond the workplace.
