Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a Print Management Consultant to join our team in Reston, VA, Lafayette, LA or Columbia, SC. This position could also be performed in any city where CGI has an office. Your future duties and responsibilities:

Looking for a Print Management Consultant, who will be responsible for below:

  • Install and reinstall software packages and updates on print servers and admin servers

  • Responsible for maintaining various documents required to remote into printer end points, servers, and other infrastructure that support enterprise level print services.

  • Analyze and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals

  • Document Standard Operation Procedures for all processes involved in the administration of the MFDs, Ricoh SLNX, and print servers.

  • Conduct Training for onsite Office Service contractors and full-time employee leads on processes of administrating the MFDs, SLNX, and SLNX print servers.

  • Design, build, and test software packages (Print drivers)

  • Install and reinstall software packages and updates on print servers and admin servers

  • Administer and managing print management software

  • Ricoh Streamline NX
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals

  • Upgrade and replace software systems, firmware, and drivers

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience

  • Ricoh Streamline NX

  • Audit

  • Basic knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure)

  • Knowledge of Administration Windows Servers (2016, 2019)

  • Knowledge of SQL databases - setup, troubleshoot and maintain.

  • Knowledge of Networking and Security (access controls, protocols, routing)

  • Specific Printing Knowledge - starting but not limited to

  • Configures and ensures proper functioning of Ricoh MFDs (Multi-Functional Devices) and Epson wide-format plotters.

  • Ensure print queues are functioning after maintenance, patching, updates

  • Able to manage print queues (updating IPs, creating new ports, testing)

  • Experienced and capable of managing print queues; clearing, rebuilding, and resetting.

  • Able to troubleshoot communication between the print servers, Ricoh Streamline NX, FMAudit

  • Understanding of creating queues, embedded devices on Ricoh Streamline NX

  • Scripting experience

  • PowerShell, C# or any other .net programming language

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $53,100.00 - $130,600.00.
