Position Summary

Works on complex software development projects that enable revenue growth and process efficiencies in the Manufacturing Network. Contribute to the architecture, design, development, testing, and maintenance of system interfaces to meet business requirements. Ensure the best software design practices are used for testing, scalability and security. Consult with and advise business partners.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop applications that integrate with internal and external retail and commercial tools

  • Evaluate current business processes and future business needs in order to help define team and departmental software development strategy

  • Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to research innovative ideas and technology solutions for the business and help create proof of concept programs, integrations, and applications

  • Apply subject matter expertise to help develop innovative applications and integrations to meet unique customer needs

  • Maintain and update existing applications and solutions

  • Work with Documentation Specialists and Technical Writers to develop relevant documentation materials necessary for application deployment and SDLC best practices

  • Ability to work with limited supervision

  • All other duties as needed or required

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent) or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years software development experience

  • 3+ years in a print or custom manufacturing industry

  • Expert knowledge of C#, XML, JSON, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Node.JS

  • Expert knowledge of software engineering practices and SDLC

  • Expert knowledge of coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing and release management

  • Experience with cloud environments (e.g. Azure)

  • Experience with source control tools (e.g. Subversion)

  • Experience with database management, structure and architecture

  • Experience with manipulating Excel and PDF files via code a plus

  • Experience with EFI Pace a plus

Common Essential Duties & Responsibilities: This person will have to design, debug and develop applications in Python in the Eclipse Environment. This person needs to have demonstrated experience with Android Development. This person needs to be have experience and knowledge in Artificial and Machine Learning concepts (Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Keras etc.) This person will have to design, debug and develop applications in C# in the Visual Studio Environment. This person should also be familiar with JavaScript with JQuery and ASP. This person should have some basic knowledge on SQL and relational databases. This person will be required to analyze requirements and develop test scripts based on carrier and internal test requirements. This person will be required to interact with external teams to integration, deploy and test automation test scripts. This person will be required to analyze issues coming out of these deployments, do root cause analysis and assign issues for resolution to the development teams. This person will be required to analyze the test logs, identify issues and present all required information to internal and external teams for issue resolution. This person will be required to manage the issues identified to closure by working with other internal and external teams. This person will be required to generate test reports, from the executed test cases Background/Experience Required: 5-10 years software development experience required.
