We are currently seeking a motivated individual to serve as a senior subcontract administrator, assembling lists of subcontractors, preparing requests for proposals, negotiating terms and conditions, and more. Help us ensure that the subcontractors we work with live up to our industry leading reputation!

Negotiating subcontract price/cost, profit/fee, terms and conditions, and subcontract modifications.

Drafting subcontract business and technical terms, developing negotiation strategies and providing suggestions to project management and oversight of all subcontract agreements.

Bid Packet Preparation for construction subs, negotiating blanket purchasing agreements and ordering agreements with preferred vendors.


  • Prepare purchase orders in line with negotiations and in line with project goals and requirements. Complete Purchase Order Contracts as required by the Project needs.

  • Prepare bid packages for construction subs, negotiate blanket purchasing agreements and ordering agreements with preferred vendors.

  • Draft subcontract terms, develop negotiation strategies. Provide suggestions to project management and oversight of all subcontract agreements in collaboration with the Contract Manager.

  • Be able to understand and negotiate Commercial Terms and Conditions with Suppliers and Subcontractors.

  • Negotiate the purchase of goods and services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets. Ability to successfully negotiate price, terms, delivery, and volume levels with suppliers

  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers/vendors to effectively address issues related to price, delivery, and quality of purchased materials, including managing scheduling changes and cancellations.

  • Manage and be able to negotiate resolutions for supplier or subcontractor issues pertaining to procurement and deliveries.

  • Interface collaboratively with Project Management, Schedulers, Field Engineers, Site Managers, Finance organizations, Legal Department and others as required.

  • Participate in Supplier Evaluations and annual performance reviews, as required

  • Ability to understand project specifications and requirements in order to identify key requirements that are required for compliance of subcontractor bidding and execution.

  • Perform supplier quote evaluation and schedule vendor selection reviews with Project Management, Engineering and Quality.

  • Develop, creative, and innovative procurement processes. Reduce project spending through negotiation and the use of procurement best practices.

  • Perform other related duties as required.


  • Bachelor's degree or higher from accredited university is required (Supply Chain, Business, or Accounting)

  • Minimum 10 years of purchasing experience in a construction or manufacturing environment

  • Contract management and supplier management experience

  • Strong computer proficiency, and documentation skills

  • Ability to manage changing priorities and resolve appropriately

  • Organized, self-motivated, pro-active and results-oriented. Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Strong negotiation, communication (written & verbal), interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Analytical, numerically astute with strong proven problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work individually with minimal supervision; ability to work well within a team

  • Building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers

  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Working knowledge of contract law

Working with representatives from functional offices serving on the ERP Information Security Team, the position defines templates for roles, class, fine grain access, data masking, and other security access levels. Essential Functions: 1. Overall responsibility for implementation of the university's central data security, access, privacy identity theft and FTC Red-Flag policies, architecture, and procedures as they relate to electronic administrative information systems. 2. Implements daily provisioning and de-provisioning account activities and related identity management functions. 3. Working with ERP Information Security Team, defines templates for roles, class, fine grain access, data masking and other security access levels. Identifies best-fit technology, procedures, and processes that address functional office and university needs. 4. Analyzes security incidents and events and notifies Director of University Information Systems and other appropriate personnel of potential threats and vulnerabilities to university information systems. Recommends corrective action as needed. 5. Develops and implements periodic management and exception reporting to monitor system access and satisfy internal and external audit needs. 6. Performs periodic system security status checks and monitors privileged user access to university information systems. 7. Develops and delivers university IT security awareness and other related training programs for faculty and staff. 8. Assists with the development of appropriate data security policies. 9. Keeps informed of the latest information security developments and trends through reading, vendor presentations, and conferences. 10. Other related duties as assigned. Essential Characteristics: 1. In addition to formal education, experience with fourth generation computing programming languages (i.e. SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, JavaScript, Perl, Project Management, Ellucian Banner Systems, Oracle database server applications, etc.), Data Structures and MS windows servers, some knowledge of UNIX server administration, Cognos, experience with Web Servers (Apache and IIS), enterprise database structure, and current Windows desktop applications. A minimum of 4 years related experience. Considerable knowledge in computer science or closely related field is required. Extensive knowledge of the principles behind the structuring of an integrated and relational database systems. Knowledge in software and hardware security administration. Ability to comprehend and apply new software tools, operating systems, and networking applications are essential.
