The Principle Product manager for Team Member Services team is the influencer, prioritizer of work, and evangelist of HR technology. He or she will support a key area of the business by helping our teams realize the full potential by fostering: innovation, communication, learning and continuous improvement, and building customer centric HR technology Solutions.

Essential Duties:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

  • Owns the intake process for all products in the TMS technology portfolio (Workday, Cornerstone, PhenomPeople, Carta, etc.)

  • Serve as subject matter expert on Workday and other HR systems matters

  • Understands and communicates business need, business strategy and high-level requirements.

  • Responsible for ensuring participate and sign off on product readiness prior to deployment.

  • This role facilitates the review of product releases, alongside the Product Owner(s) to determine if new functionality should be accepted by the company.

  • Influences the product life cycle for HR systems including but not limited to Workday.

  • Develops and maintains a deep understanding of product landscape with particular emphasis on the retail industry.

  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand and balance needs. Identifies and balances the needs of multiple, cross-functional stakeholder and end-user challenges and requirements.

  • Develops and refines the product vision, strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals, objectives, and market needs aligned with industry trends.

  • Influence Product Owners to break product roadmap down into minimum testable increments to learn and validate. Supports Product Owner in ensuring release plan adheres to product roadmap.

  • Defines product success metrics for products in portfolio.

  • As the product subject matter expert, collaborates with leadership to evangelize the features, benefits and future of the product.

  • Assists with UX and design-centered thinking and facilitates behavior-driven development.

  • Implements a process for trade-off decisions between product scope, cost/resources, and timing.

  • Serves as the chief contact and product expert for all products in the TMSS portfolio.

  • Develops and oversee the deployment of products across the enterprise, working with Communications and Change Enablement partners to position and promote products to internal stakeholders.

  • Partners with architects and development teams on non-functional requirements

  • Provides detailed information, best practices, and supports through the implementation process.

  • Applies functional knowledge of HR end-to-end processes to manage product roadmap.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in technology, business or a related field

  • 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager or equivalent experience

  • Strong grasp of quantitative and qualitative assessment and the ability to leverage this data to inform product direction

  • Demonstrated success defining and launching exceptional products

  • Experience working in an Agile environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once while focused on achieving deadlines

  • Success working in a team environment, including interfacing with remote groups

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Skills/Experience (Any of these is a plus)

  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, etc
  • CSPO(Certified Scrum Product Owner)
  • Deep knowledge of current HR enterprise technologies; experience with Office 365 and Workday highly desired

The Training Program Manager will join Dell's Product & Application (PAS) team to provide program management oversight to the security awareness & training curriculum across Dell's divisions. The chosen candidate will collaborate with the diverse and global product teams as well as technical security advisors & PSIRT to coordinate the product & application training initiatives which is intended to influence our engineering teams to build security into product and applications throughout their lifecycle. This role is focused on building a security culture at Dell by ensuring engineering teams understand and adhere to the PAS security standards, adopt secure development lifecycle best practices and respond to vulnerabilities reported by external sources. Key Responsibilities: * Assists in the execution of PAS awareness and training strategy * Contributes to an awareness and training program that engages Dell team members and provides them with the knowledge to help every engineering team build products and applications securely and remain secure throughout its lifecycle * Assists with planning and implementation of other training events such as Capture the Flag, workshops, and internal security conferences * Ensures that our security training program materials communicate and reinforce our security standards so that our engineering teams can understand and adhere to them * Develops and posts compelling Inside Dell (our social corporate intranet) Security Training site content such as blogs, electronic banners, infographics, and videos as assigned * Assists in the coordination of training program activities with other Dell functions, working collaboratively with colleagues across the organization * Assists Dell Business Unit (BU) and Strategically Aligned Business (SAB) liaisons in addressing their specific security training and/or job role security training requirements by identifying and making available training and materials Qualifications: Required: * Bachelor's degree in Communications, Education or IT/Computer Science-related area; or equivalent professional experience * 5+ years' experience in Communications and/or Training, preferably in a technical field * Experience implementing training events (e.g. Capture the Flag (CTF), internal security conferences) * Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator and MS Office suite * Proficiency in Web design, HTML * Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities * Strong project management skills and excellent attention to detail * Ability to perform in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment * Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization * Excellent writing and communication skills Desired: * Experience with educational training products/learning platforms such as LinkedIn Learning, PluralSight a plus * Experience in the product & application security industry a plus * Experience creating educational training materials for technical teams a plus Benefits We offer highly competitive salaries, bonus programs, world-class benefits, and unparalleled growth and development opportunities — all to create a compelling and rewarding work environment.
