About the role:
The Financial Analyst will develop management reporting for senior leadership consumption, partnering closely with key business partners to accurately plan spend across multiple workstreams and teams within the supply chain optimization program. This position requires an outgoing candidate who can build strong relationships with manufacturing site teams and program teams, to optimize financial planning, reporting and analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
Build relationships with manufacturing plant leadership teams and program workstream teams.
Develop detailed financial budgets and forecasts incorporating historic, trended and current business information.
Monitor workstream team and functional spending versus expectations and clearly articulate variance drivers, opportunity and risk
Lead deep dive review with program workstream teams during budget building phase and monthly reviews to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Perform financial analysis and recommend alternative courses of action by utilizing appropriate financial tools and creative problem solving.
Present to upper management & business partners and provide guidance on variances and trends.
Develop and utilize sound financial processes, with an eye towards process improvements and efficiencies.
This role will also have some project management opportunities within the supply chain program.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA a plus.
6 8+ years' progressive experience in finance or accounting including 4 years within FP&A.
Strong financial analysis, communication, organizational and prioritization skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adhere to tight deadlines, attention to detail.
Must have highly developed customer relationship skills with strong service orientation.
Strong understanding of interplay between financial systems.
Holds self-accountable to a performance metric culture.
Experience with manufacturing operations finance preferred.
Project based experience preferred.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required; Experience with Adaptive Planning preferred.
