Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an experienced Operations Management Analyst to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's team to support the manufacturing operations team for Mission Systems.

Our manufacturing plants are highly-automated, cutting-edge centers of excellence where employees leverage the latest technology.
This leadership position additionally includes working closely with the Manufacturing Shop Operations staff, Manufacturing Engineering organization and Operations Program Management organization by supporting the development of self-directed work teams, continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives, overall operational effectiveness, resolution of technical issues in the work cell, implementation of root cause/corrective action analysis; evaluation of process flows to ensure optimal process flow minimizing cycle time thru the manufacturing work cells.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Lead manufacturing shop operations initiatives that support operational excellence/lean manufacturing and self-directed work teams
Lead iCard program employee suggestion program
Lead the development of tier/team structure at all levels for all of manufacturing shop operations
Support all programs & projects for manufacturing operations
Provide business area and technical support to management and stakeholders to facilitate planning, set direction, define business initiatives, and develop solutions to business information systems needs and requirements.
Be able to manage multiple assignments, changing priorities, and work independently with little oversight.
Communicate effectively in written and verbal communication coupled with strong listening skills
Provide deployment and occasional off hours support

Basic Qualifications for a Sr Principal Business Process Analyst
Basic Qualifications for both levels:
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Process mapping, improvement, & implementation experience.
Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and operational excellence leader experience
Experience with KPI development, analysis, and reporting.
Experience as kaizen facilitator
Experienced facilitator familiar with conflict management.
Must be a team leader, proactive, and possess excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
Active Secret Clearance
Operational Excellence leader
Continuous Improvement Leader
Lean Six Sigma.
Experience with Self Directed Work Teams
Experience with Tableau.
