Northrop Grumman is looking for a User Applications Liaison to provide SAP level 2 Timekeeping & Labor (TK&L) support to one of our Northrop Grumman Sectors.

This position is not location specific and can be performed virtually.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide Level 2 SAP support to a NG Sector's Timekeeping & Labor functions.

• Work closely with the sector business management functions to ensure SAP Timekeeping rules and edits supports the sector's needs.

• Regularly interact with the Sector Cost Accounting/Labor Accounting/Payroll/CATS Help Desk teams

• Investigation of issues reported by users; reviewing data conditions to resolve issues working directly with users

• Anticipate potential issues and opportunities through regular contact with users and process owners in the Sector.

• Research and resolve SAP data processing issues and lead process improvement activities to deliver the highest quality of service to sector customers.

• Interfaces between systems analysts/programmers and users to ensure that information technology designs in SAP meet the needs of the end users within the Sector

• Document sector product/service requirements and develop test procedures to ensure user requests are carried out in a timely manner and work to meet the needs of the Sector

• Work with other SAP Team analysts on cross functional projects

• Prepare documentation and training as needed

• Testing SAP system functionality as part of incidents, enhancements, upgrades and disaster recovery.

Basic Qualifications - To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:

The Candidate can be hired as a Principal (3) or Sr. Principal Level (4) Liaison, depending upon the candidate's education and experience:

Principal Level (3) Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors' degree; OR 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; OR 8 years of experience with an Associates degree; in lieu of a degree 10 years of experience can be accepted

Sr. Principal Level (4) Minimum Requirements:

• At least 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree; OR 8 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree OR 12 years of experience with an Associates degree; in lieu of a degree 14 years of experience can be accepted

Basic Qualifications for Both Levels:

• Basic knowledge of MS Office tools

• Ability to directly work with business process experts

• Proficient in designing and developing user training documentation, test plan and test script development and execution.

• Must be willing and able to occasionally work outside of normal business hours (including weekends) if necessary

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

• Subject matter expert in timekeeping, labor processing and/or cost/labor accounting structure and practices

• Experience with SAP Labor, Timekeeping, and/or Project Systems usage at Northrop Grumman and within a sector

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in IT, Accounting or Business

• Experience in Implementing S/4 HANA

• Experience using Redwood

• Full life cycle SAP project implementation

• Experience working virtually

Salary Range: $88,600.00 - $133,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
