At a Glance:
This position is responsible for design, implementation, and oversight of administration for our enterprise networks. This includes data, wireless, security, and voice for both local area networks and international wide area networks. This position works closely with Architecture on understanding standards and guidelines and ensures that network designs meet those standards and guidelines and are implemented according to design. This position also serves as a mentor role to operational support teams for the network environment.

What you will do:
Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Enterprise networking design and implementation to meet specified standards and guidelines from security and architecture. Primarily on Cisco (ACI and Nexus) and Meraki hardware.
Mentor and coach a team of network administrators, providing technical guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Help ensure performance of the enterprise network environment through recommendations for design and configuration improvements to be incorporated by the operational support teams.
Help establish and maintain IP scheme as well as DHCP scopes.
Act as an escalation point of contact for break/fix resolution, ensuring timely and effective resolution of network-related incidents.
Assist Cyber/Secops team with network security design and implementation when needed.
Act as senior network expert to other support teams.
Participate in major incident calls and large outages, providing expertise and guidance to resolve critical issues
Maintain and update network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Self-motivated with a strong attention to accountability and a sense of urgency when it comes to restoring operational state.
What you need:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field highly preferred
CCIE certification is required. CCIE Data Center preferred.
Minimum of 10+ years network/telecommunications experience
Minimum of 5+ years network architecture and design experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience mentoring and coaching a team of network administrators.
Thorough knowledge of advanced networking switching and routing technology
Sufficient knowledge of firewall technology and network security
Advanced knowledge of Cisco routers/switches/wireless/voice
Advanced knowledge of LAN/Wan Infrastructure Protocols
Understanding of network management processes and applications
Forward thinking and ability to adapt to evolving technology
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced knowledge of routing and routing protocols, specifically BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.
Experience with Wireless networks/controllers encompassing Aruba or Cisco hardware.
Experience with Firewall policies and rule sets to include Cisco ASA and Palo Alto hardware platforms.
