A Playa Vista-based company is hiring for a Principal or Lead-level UX Designer! The company is the most winning eSports team within the League of Legends Championship Series and they offer a web-based platform that serves as a coaching app which uses computer vision and data-driven insights to proactively help gamers make better decisions at each step of their gameplay experience. They are looking for a Lead-level or Principal UX Designer (flexible on the title) to help managing the League of Legends project. This person will Identify key hires and eventually build a team. The ideal candidate should should have design operations experience with a UX emphasis, but also feel confident in guiding visuals.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of professional UX/UI or Product Design experience

  • Relevant and recent native mobile and web experience

  • B2C experience

  • Experience building out analytics tools and platforms

  • Experience in gaming/eSports

Desired Skills & Experience

  • E-Learning and/or Education background is a bonus!
  • Experience in a start-up or smaller team/company

Working in conjunction with your team lead, animation director, and producers, you will be part of all stages of the animation and design process. Next to this you coach the animators / motion designers in the team.</p><p><br></p> <p>You build a close relationship with makers of all disciplines, art / animation directors, team leads, and producers.
