development operations specialist that will support the office of the Director of Executive Development and Succession. The ideal candidate will provide operations support to the entire Executive Development and Succession team. In this role, you will have an opportunity to create and maintain operational processes to ensure excellence; conduct analyses, report on departmental progress against goals, and help ensure effectiveness of resources in support of developing our leaders. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Partner with the team to streamline, enhance and improve efficiency of current processes, tools, and resources while identifying and assessing areas for improvement

  • Project-manage various aspects of cohort programs, including enterprise nominations, communications, invitations, program registration, and participant tracking, etc.

  • Project-manage various aspects of enterprise mentoring programs, including VP mentoring program, Mentoring Matters website and database, communications, invitations, occasional developmental events, etc.

  • Project-manage the process used for executive networking reception invitations, sign-ups and participation tracking

  • Schedule and administer enterprise 360 and MENTOR Leadership Battery assessment processes

  • Maintain the project team and program participant online collaboration sites (Share Point)

  • Partner with Northrop Grumman sector talent management leads to ensure program nominations are completed

on time and meet internal requirements

  • Collaborate with the HRIS team to prepare participant demographic and movement analyses

  • Collaborate with other team members to track and ensure completion of participant Talent Profiles

  • Manage the purchase order, invoice, ADR and NDA process with vendors and internal purchasing staff

  • Assist HR Business Manager with tracking and calculation of the internal charge back process for Northrop Grumman sectors

  • Manage special projects and initiatives as needed

  • Collaborate with the communications team to develop consistent messaging/branding for our cohort programs

  • Administer leadership assessment instruments to program participants

  • Create and distribute monthly coaching reports to HR executives and OE leaders

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience; 4 years of relevant experience with a master's degree

  • Demonstrated experience in MS Excel and SharePoint beyond basic functions of the tool

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain confidentiality, credibility and influence

  • Strong collaboration and project management skills

  • Highly skilled problem-solving, critical thinking and attention to detail

  • Willingness to pitch in to support the team's charter

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with documenting and streamlining processes

  • Experience successfully managing operations for a department

  • Demonstrated experience with Adobe Pro and PowerPoint beyond basic functions of the tool

  • Excellent business acumen

  • Experience managing vendor payments and purchase orders

This position reports to the Director of Organization Effectiveness. The Consultant is responsible for planning and facilitating various talent development and change initiatives and processes. This includes a wide variety of talent programs such as leadership effectiveness, culture change and team interventions. The Consultant will collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders and enterprise-wide team members to meet project deliverables. S/he will also support project tracking and team execution, drive the communication flow with all constituents to ensure project success and seek out and share best practices for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate must be able to perform a wide array of project tasks independently, drive projects to completion, develop creative solutions, manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and handle variable workloads. Excellent collaboration, communication, interpersonal and platform skills are required. The ability to operate effectively as part of a dynamic team as well as interface effectively with all levels of management is essential. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Partner with Organization Effectiveness team members and HR teams to implement key talent development and change initiatives for the ES sector and Corporate functions. * Lead special projects in leadership effectiveness and culture change Conduct leadership effectiveness sessions and facilitate team interventions Guide and consult with business leaders and HRBPs to develop talent solutions for organizations and leaders. * Design and deliver training to HR team members on key talent processes and organization specific requirements. * Prepare and provide HR and business leaders with standard and customized talent analytics to identify pipeline gaps/ risks and assess progress on key drivers. * Develop communications and communication & change management plans. At a Sr Principal level, the above is included as well as these reposibilities- * Assess critical organization and talent issues and provides expertise, guidance, direction and execution to address * Facilitates identification and development of organization and process redesign efforts * Provides coaching, consulting and training to leaders and employees * Able to lead large scale initiatives in an fast paced ambiguous environment * Consults with leadership and executives to design and develop innovative solutions to address organizational challenges This role may be filled at a Principal or Sr Principal role Basic Qualifications: Principal level- * Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in HR, Organization Effectiveness or related discipline such as leadership development, change management; 4 years of experience with a master's degree. * Experience facilitating group discussions and gaining consensus/ agreement using a variety of approaches Demonstrated experience managing and analyzing data, interpreting findings, communicating analyses and results, and making sound recommendations based on findings. * Experience designing, developing and delivering training to a variety of audiences. * Proven track record in acting with a thoughtful sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment to create and execute solutions. Highly proficient in Microsoft office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
