Principal Technology Adoption Architect - ML & AI

To achieve this goal and maintain the leadership position we have established a center of excellence for ML/AI with a team of data scientists that is part of the cloud technology adoption team that you would join.
Extreme Networks is looking for Technology Adoption Architects across the world to join our new Cloud Technology Adoption team. In your new role you will be working closely with the center of excellence for ML/AI, our Cloud SE organization, lead customers and partners as well as our product management and engineering teams to help define, prototype and improve ML and AI feature roadmaps and make initial deployments successful. You will also help evangelize to our customers, prospects and partners about our leadership in cloud driven intelligence and assurance applications together with our marketing team. This requires good communication and presentation skills while we will focus on prototypes instead of "slideware".
As part of our daily work we also engage with customers and partners of all types to understand and accelerate the realization of their business objectives through the successful adoption of ExtremeCloud based intelligence and assurance solutions that leverage latest technologies in ML and AI. This strengthens and allows us to maintain our market position as a leader for cloud-driven end to end enterprise networking.
We are a team focused on:
Acting as subject matters expert both from a technology perspective and solution portfolio perspective for cloud, ML and AI. You'll be the go-to person for the field (sales and partners) for help on understanding the technology, ,features, solutions and benefits.
Developing a plan for each customer's and/or partner success and measuring progress against it
Driving healthy user adoption of new technologies and solutions to build reference and lighthouse accounts in every strategic region for Extreme
Maintaining customer satisfaction by engaging the right teams within Extreme, removing roadblocks, and influencing product roadmaps in support of our existing customers
Evangelizing the marketplace about leading technologies in ML and AI and our solutions based on those
Help to define, prototype and improve our ML and AI features and roadmap
Our success is measured by the increased adoption of new solutions and the and retention and growth of customer and partner relationships.
Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex customer and partner relationships in a technology service industry
Great interpersonal skills with the ability to work across a multi-disciplinary team and great communication skills
Proven record of driving issues to resolution with great customer satisfaction
Ability to manage multiple customer accounts, projects and deadlines simultaneously
Willing to be a hands-on contributor and a proactive team player
Ambitious and driven, thriving in a demanding and fast-paced environment
Customer success, consulting and architecture, systems engineering or/and technical marketing experience, preferably in SaaS organization
Ability to travel occasionally when needed and/or spend significant time interacting with customers remotely on solutions engagements
Excellent critical thinking and business acumen to identify new solutions and use cases that have widespread adoption potential
Provide architectural guidance with third-party products within the customer's environment
Participate and partner with product development and the data science center of excellence to help define and contribute to solutions and tooling based on customer requirements contribute directly to the delivery of these solutions through scripting, coding, testing, documenting, demonstrating and/or showcasing at various conferences.
Work closely with Product Management and product development team on problem solving, driving product improvements, diagnose issues and yield a to a customer in the fastest possible time.
Fluent in at least 1 programming language, Knowledge of Java, Python or Go programming
Knowledge of efficient data structures, query parsing, and optimization as well as basic principles of ML and AI technologies
Effective in working both independently and in a team setting with other high performing technical architects.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field or equivalent experience.
LOCATION: We will consider highly qualified candidates in ANY US location, please be near an airport. This is a customer facing role and some travel 25%+ will be necessary.
