The Azure Security team is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Principal Technical Program Manager to deliver infrastructure security features on a cloud-scale. As part of this team, you will be working at the foundational layer of Microsoft’s cloud, delivering security features which impact millions of our customers worldwide, from consumers playing on Xbox to governments running mission-critical applications.
You will partner closely with engineering teams across Azure, as well as legal and compliance teams to ensure we provide the most secure cloud infrastructure on Earth. Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree AND 6 years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development o OR equivalent experience. 3 years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Other Qualifications Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements as these are required for this role.
These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree AND 10 years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development o OR equivalent experience. 8 years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Understanding of security fundamentals such as secure development, threat modeling, vulnerabilities, and risks. Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
