About the role
Zillow Group is looking for a hardworking, strategic, data-driven leader who is comfortable with ambiguity to help drive industry disruption and delight consumers. You will be a strong Product Manager with deep technical expertise in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and optimizing product delivery lifecycles. You have a solid understanding of DevOps principles and how to utilize them in effective product delivery. You have an ability to own the services, tools and process as a product. Keeping up with trends and anticipating developer needs to provide solutions that are compelling to users.
Specifically, this role will give you the opportunity to:
Develop and execute on a multi-functional strategy for Product Delivery across Zillow Group
Create and execute against a cross-functional roadmap, defining features and technical specifications for developer tools and services.
Identify and plan requirements with internal partners and drive projects through the entire project lifecycle from design through development, delivery and operations.
Plan and execute the technical delivery of programs with teams in various locations across the United States, including managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project partners.
Evangelize DevOps, CI/CD and monitoring throughout the organization and advocate for the developer experience.
Define, articulate, and track KPIs, SLAs, SLOs and OKRs for the product delivery lifecycle.
Who you are
You will be passionate about product delivery with quality and have extensive experience working on improving, including deep technical knowledge from leading or participating in product delivery improvement initiatives. In addition, you will have:
Ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary enterprise projects
Broad understanding of software engineer needs, testing, release practices and operational best practices.
At least 5 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years in CI/CD, lifecycle management and DevOps competencies continually improving product delivery.
Deep understanding of technologies and practices used in application/service development, CI/CD and Site Reliability Engineering.
Experience with CI/CD and SRE tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Artifactory, Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog or similar.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and other container solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of influencing and building consensus across all disciplines and levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail and extraordinary organizational skills.
Experience working with product, engineering and operations to build, execute and test technical user-centric designs that lead to successful DevOps and product delivery solutions.
