We are currently seeking a Principle Systems Administrator to join our growing team in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems within test stations and networks
Interacts with users and evaluates system performance and trends
Assist users with debugging and resolving identified issues within their accounts
Responds to monitored alerts to quickly identify root cause and implement resolution
Assists with implementation of automated processes or function to improve daily operations as directed
Assists with implementation of the technical security technology and IT projects as directed
Collaborates in authoring system documentation and procedures
Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Deploys, manages, maintains, and supports Microsoft Windows in multi-user computer systems
Sustains operational uptime on Windows systems and provides daily support for hardware and software issues, data, recovery, system upgrades, software upgrades, and configuration issues
Implements Windows upgrades and Sustainment of Windows infrastructure (Windows 10, windows 7, Windows XP, Linux) on multiple networks to include group policy management, account creation, software troubleshooting, and active directory administration
Performs security hardening on systems using DoD STIGs and other best practice security guidelines
Must have one of the following:
Associate's degree or appropriate Military Occupational with a minimum of 8 years of IT experience
A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of IT experience
A Master's degree with a minimum of 4 year of IT experience
Must have a current U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance OR must have an inactive clearance within the past 5 years.
Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
Demonstrates success in performing in a fast-paced depot/sustainment environment
Experience in managing classified and controlled information of data systems and networks
Knowledge of the NIST SP 800-171 Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information on Non Federal Information Systems.
Knowledge of the NIST SP 800-53 Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems.
Experience in administering Windows Server OS and Active Directory OU's
Basic Understanding of the Linux OS environment, Ubuntu, CentOS, and RHEL.
