Principal System Engineer

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.2HB Incorporated is seeking a System Engineer in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. TKO is seeking a Senior Systems/Software Engineer to support the Cybersecurity Intelligence Team (CIT) TTO which provides normalization of cyber security data and automation of cyber threat intelligence. The engineer will provide team and technical leadership for a system administration team that supports a portfolio of projects under CIT.The successful candidate will interface with customers, provide report update on team efforts, participate in technical discussions, including recertification discussions.Skills:

• Expertise designing and managing Kubernetes Orchestration (Must have)
• Expertise managing Docker containerization
• Expertise in ESXi (VMware architecture)
• Ability to create and maintain VM's
• Ability to install and support RHEL 8 Linux OS

Position Requirements:

(U) Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288:

• (U) A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience

OR

• (U) A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience (any Process Area).

OR

• (U) A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience

OR

• (U) A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.

*(U) Note 1 – Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management.

*(U) Note 2 - Examples of related disciplines include: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics
