• Experience in substation design and engineering, particularly with high-voltage substation projects. (7+ years) • Experience in project engineering or project management, with a strong action-oriented approach. • Experience with industry codes and standards including IEEE, NESC, ASCE, and compliance with ISO and Transmission Owner requirements. • Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including external engineers, vendors, and project teams to ensure successful project execution. • Expertise in developing scopes of work, securing bids, and managing contracts for engineering and construction services. • Experience with technical compliance for all engineering deliverables and construction milestones. • Valid driver`s license; • Willingness to travel within North America as needed for project oversight.Senior Substation Project Engineer (onsite with some travel)- Requirements: • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach (required); • Experience in substation project engineering and management.(10+ years) • Experience working with high-voltage transmission substation projects (115kV and above). • Expertise in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for large-scale substation projects. • Proficiency with substation design tools such as AutoCAD and industry-standard software. • Experience managing Engineers of Record (EOR) and coordinating substation project design efforts. • Experience with interconnection agreements, transmission studies, and substation commissioning processes. • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including ISOs and transmission owners. • PE (Professional Engineer) License preferred. • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Substation Project Engineer (onsite with some travel)- Requirements: • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach (required); • Experience in substation project engineering.(1-3 years) • Experience working on high-voltage substation projects (115kV and above) is preferred. • Experience with project planning, budgeting, and resource management. • Experience with substation design tools such as AutoCAD and other industry-standard software. • Experience coordinating with internal teams and Engineers of Record (EOR) to support project designs. • Experience with project documentation requirements and compliance standards. • PE (Professional Engineer) License or willingness to pursue it in the future is a plus. • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Responsibilities: • Oversee the development, design, and engineering of high-voltage substation projects (115kV and above), ensuring compliance with industry standards such as IEEE, NESC, and Transmission Owner requirements. • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring projects stay on track and within financial constraints. Maintain compliance with substation design documentation, interconnection agreements, and project milestones, while overseeing substation commissioning processes. • Utilize substation design tools like AutoCAD and other industry-standard software to support design efforts. Review and manage project documentation to ensure it meets compliance standards. • Lead the technical execution of substation projects, identifying risks and resolving issues related to engineering design, procurement, and construction.
