Advanced Safety, Autonomous, and Connected Vehicles Validation
role is a critical role to define and execute go-to-market strategies for NI's thriving transportation business unit. Solutions marketers accelerate business results by distilling and evangelizing technology trends, competitive positioning, and value propositions to NI customers and sales/marketing colleagues.
This role will focus on applying these skills to help NI gain market share in the fast-growing areas of automotive validation centered around advanced safety, autonomous vehicles, V2X communication, and infotainment.
Monitor key automotive technology trends affecting customer validation needs, including advanced safety sensor developments, artificial intelligence advancements for vehicles, regulatory safety standards, and vehicle communication standards.
Collaborate with other business unit functions to perform market segmentation/sizing and provide input into the forward investment strategy
Collaborate with Transportation Business Unit Offering Managers and Regional Sales/Marketing to define and execute the go-to-market strategy for automotive validation solutions
Map out the buying process for NI solutions, including key customer roles/functions that participate in the decision-making process and the content necessary to influence those involved
Define and communicate the value proposition for NI solutions
Build relevant technical marketing content, including white papers, case studies, videos, brochures, product demonstrations, industry tradeshow presentations, and online media
Develop sales enablement assets aligned to phases of the customer buying process
Establish punditry at industry events and customer conferences
Collaborate with NI Transportation Business Development Managers and Account Managers to support sales engagements, and then apply lessons learned to broad sales enablement materials
Track and document customer successes for promotional purposes and track lost opportunities for corrections to the go-to-market strategy
Effectively communicate with both highly-technical customer roles (e.g. Lead/Architect-level Design Engineers and Test Engineers) and executive-level business leaders (e.g. Director/VP of Product Line, Director/VP of V&V, etc.)
Train salespeople and other internal functions on the critical automotive test trends and key needs, challenges, and decision drivers of the target buyers

5 years of automotive or related industry experience
5 years of experience in product marketing, product management, product planning, or related role
Experience leading and executing product launches or other product marketing activities
Willingness to travel up to 20%, including international travel
Willingness to be located in Austin, TX
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Deep insight into Advanced Safety or Connected Vehicles technology
Technical aptitude (Engineering Degree) and curiosity for developing deep domain expertise
Experience in a global and multinational technology company
Strong public speaking and technical writing experience
Entrepreneurial spirit and result driven
Strong cross-functional team leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
