As a Principal Solutions Architect you are a senior consultant, providing strategic and technical leadership to Bullhorn project teams along with best practice recommendations and expertise to client executives on their Bullhorn initiatives, helping them translate their Business and IT strategies into solutions within the realm of Bullhorn capabilities. In addition, you will be responsible for technical ownership and execution of the Bullhorn roadmap for our enterprise customers.

As a Principal Solutions Architect, a typical day might include:

  • Be a trusted technical advisor to client leaders and executives, understanding their business needs and providing them with recommendations and relevant data points to make strategic decisions

  • Partner with account and program managers to define strategy, requirements and implementation plan; and then help deliver to that plan

  • Consult with customers, advocating Bullhorn and industry best practices and successfully aligning that with the customers short-term and long-term strategic objectives

  • Establish a long term technical roadmap for client implementations and guide Bullhorn implementation teams to execute on that roadmap

  • Manage technical oversight on multiple Bullhorn engagements for enterprise client programs, owning all aspects of the solution at a program level

  • Articulate clearly, verbally and in writing, complex technical designs, potential solutions and trade-offs to Bullhorn leaders and client executives

  • Work with Solution Architects on reusable solutions, help identify risks and dependencies, and then work with project/program managers and the account team to mitigate them

This job might be for you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent)

  • 10+ years of experience in a client facing consulting role or a technical advisor capacity

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in the definition and execution of Enterprise software projects

  • Excellent knowledge of web and cloud technologies and languages such as SOAP, REST, Java, JavaScript, SQL, AWS etc

  • Passion for understanding ambiguous, complex problems and driving high-quality, innovative, reusable and robust solutions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excel in a fast-changing environment with multiple deadlines and priorities

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive presentation skills

  • Ability to lead with influence

  • Flexibility to travel

Bonus points for:

  • Consulting background with previous work in a Big 5 consulting firm or a technology company

  • Experience participating in enterprise sales engagements

  • Experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, specifically in CRM

  • Experience using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and reusable components

Principal Solutions Architects act as highly consultative, hands-on resources, delivering superlative "white glove" service to all levels of an organization. In this role, you will interface with the client's internal IT team and work closely with all levels of their organization to resolve complex and diverse IT-related issues that help drive the client's business. A Principal Solutions Architect functions as a "Virtual CIO" for our clients, helping to define IT strategy, architect and deliver complex technology solutions, and act as a Coretelligent brand ambassador to help highlight Coretelligent's offerings, while effectively understanding and matching the client's business needs and technology challenges with the appropriate solution. In addition, you will have several internal responsibilities at Coretelligent, including assisting with the management, maintenance, and refinement of our internal product platforms (CoreCloud, CoreBDR, and CoreArmor) and helping to provide support for our internal IT systems. You will also be required to rapidly identify new technologies, become a subject matter expert, and train and mentor other Coretelligent or client team members. Finally, you will have the opportunity to participate in quarterly planning sessions to help refine our product and solution offerings, technical standards, and deployment methodologies to gain increased operation efficiencies and provide superior value to our clientele. Responsibilities * Support two to three strategic client accounts as their primary senior IT resource * Assist with the design, management, and operations of Coretelligent platforms (CoreCloud, CoreBDR, CoreArmor) * Effectively multi-task and prioritize changing workloads in a fast-paced environment while producing high quality results * Act as a brand ambassador of Coretelligent – occasionally participate in pre-sales/sales activities, calls, or meetings * Become a solid contributor on our team, and maintain portions of the key infrastructure that powers our Private Cloud platform * Train and educate others within the organization on complex technical topics * Solve business needs with technology by evaluating different technology options and vendor products. * Participate in an escalation on-call rotation (serve as a point of escalation for Tier3 / high profile issues or outages Experience & Qualifications * College degree (BA/BS in software/technical field) or equivalent work experience * 5+ years of progressive work experience with designing, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting corporate IT infrastructure. Prior consulting experience is highly desirable * Outstanding and proven communication at all levels within an organization, both written and verbal * Detail oriented, highly organized – ability to effectively document critical information and processes * Ability to follow and adhere to defined processes, policies, and change-management procedures * Certifications (optional): CCNA, MCSE, VCP, CISSP, etc. * Extensive experience with virtualization technologies: VMware, Citrix and Microsoft * Comprehensive understanding of major operating systems, networking, storage, and security concepts * Deep knowledge of key Microsoft technologies including: Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Office, O365, Azure * Strong hands-on networking experience, including: routing, firewalls, VPN & WAN connectivity, switching, and wireless * Experience with major storage technologies and protocols (SAN / NAS – iSCSI, FC, CIFS, NFS) * Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle * Ability to lift ~50 pounds and work in office and data center environments The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
