Principal Software Engineer, R&D, User Interface (Atlanta, GA)

Principal Software Engineer, R&D, User Interface positions offered by Manhattan Associates, Inc. (Atlanta, GA). Manage projects and development of detailed design specifications in connection with the development and implementation processes for Manhattan's supply chain products and services. Exercise discretion to determine optimal and efficient designs for multiple areas of the software system.

Project manage development and unit testing of assigned software areas following R&D development processes. Ensure projects are on schedule and within budget. Oversee the facilitation of technology and skills knowledge transfer.

Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field

and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience developing, supporting or implementing application software. Also requires 3 years of experience: developing UIs with HTML, JavaScript and CSS; and developing enterprise-scale frameworks in Java-based UI technologies.

Requires 1 year experience developing with Angular, Ionic or other JS frameworks. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.

The UI Developer is a hands-on development role that designs, prototypes and develops software components that organize and rationalize Anthem systems and information assets in the provider and clinical domains in order to ensure business and IT alignment. Deliverables include technical evaluations, component prototypes, and complete software components as well as architecture documents, vendor assessments, technical recommendations, operational business architecture, blueprints reference architectures, and technology assessments. This role leads solution architecture across multiple analytical projects, collaborates with business and IT partners and participates in architecture governance activities. Primary duties include, but are not limited to: * Implement UI feature-function for anthem analytic platform * Develops the architecture frameworks required to implement large complex cross-functional analytic projects * Collaborates with IT delivery teams and ensures that the delivery of platform components aligns with the needs of those consuming teams * Prototypes, and in some cases fully develops software components for reuse across IT delivery teams.
