We are looking for an exceptionally talented senior software engineer with remote rendering experience to aid in our development of cloud based integrated circuit design software. You will be part of a group of innovative software engineers creating new components and algorithms to develop the next generation of our design platform. Self-motivation, the desire to take technical ownership, a results-driven positive attitude and team-orientation will contribute to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for architecting, implementing, debugging, and supporting innovative and diverse features for IC design. The software frequently involves rapid user interaction, so careful consideration of the user experience is an important part of the job. At the same time, IC design involves massive data sets, so performance considerations are critical when architecting new features. Challenges will include high-performance data-structures, multi-threading, distributed computing, multi-platform support, and object-oriented design of C++ software.
This is a remote position.
Qualifications:
General
BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
Advanced C++ programming knowledge and experience
Advanced multi-threading and concurrency knowledge, including experience with thread pools, mutexes, semaphores, critical sections.
Networking
Rendering
Knowledgeable about the differences between remote and local rendering technologies and ability to design the best architecture for each environment
Low-level GPU Programming and optimization experience
Knowledge of high-performance rendering technologies such as Vulkan, OpenGL, etc
Understand latency sensitive issues in the display pipeline
Familiarity with Azure Remote Rendering (ARR), Amazon Nice DCV similar technologies.
Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Game engines
Cloud
Knowledgeable in at least one leading cloud service provider, either Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
Understanding of Web Services and APIs.
Knowing how well-known containers like Kubernetes and Docker function is a plus.

Exceptional communications skills
Must have high attention to detail and extremely high bar for the quality of work
Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently and as part of a team
This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The salary range for this position is $145,700 to $262,300 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
