In the Oracle National Security Realms (ONSR) we carry these values, along with a passion for serving our US Government customers, to provide a safe, secure, and highly reliable cloud computing experience.
Job Description
The ONSR Operation organization is constantly evolving, developing new processes, tools, and services to deliver a high-quality customer experience. The ONSR Automation organization is building a new service to enhance real-time visibility of OCI cloud health to better support our ONSR operators. This is a "built from scratch" opportunity but requires team members with a strong orientation toward operations as an engineering skill set and a never-ending commitment to the customer experience. In this role, you will enable the development team by driving design of major service components, working with engineering managers and TPMs, and providing direct guidance to more junior team members. You can go from high level system design, writing architectural documentation and driving engineering peer reviews to hands-on prototyping, code reviews and project bootstrapping.
You will design and develop code, unit tests, integration tests, use CI/CD pipeline for pre-production functionality, performance, and scalability testing. As an engineering leader, we expect you to raise the bar for the entire engineering organization - whether through best engineering practices, operational excellence, development process or shared code contributions. You will collaborate with other service teams and participate in our engineering community to drive the best possible customer experience - both internal and external.
