Principal Software Developer III (Remote)

Exercise discretion and independent judgment in designing, developing, and modifying gaming software applications by applying fundamental computer science techniques; creating shareable libraries which improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the software development groups. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in writing and implementing software applications. Participate in validating written code through code reviews with unit tests or other automated testing techniques.

Document all aspects of written code, including how to build and use the software Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Needed for the Job: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical or science-related field preferred. 8-10 years of experience with Java. 5-6 years of experience with Springboot and Microservices. Experience with NoSQL and Cassandra. 8-12 years’ experience and practical application of software development practices, such as the software development life cycle (SDLC), agile software development, feature driven development, or other similar processes.

Demonstrated advanced knowledge of data structures, logic, algorithms, and optimization skills. Demonstrated understanding of product pipeline, software tools, and processes surrounding it. Demonstrated understanding and practical application of object-oriented modeling, design, and development.
