This contract is a large, multi-year contract for the development, integration, deployment and sustainment of large collection systems. Job Summary

The Principal SIGDEV Analyst will provide expert level analytic support to planned and deployed systems. The analyst will utilize their recent hands on experience with access analysis, target development, and engineering analysis associated with existing customer systems. The analyst must have extensive experience with Protocol Analysis to be successful in this role.


Bachleors Degree in related field of study and 15 or more years related experience. In lieu of Bachelors Degree an additional 4 years of directly related experience will be considered

A minimum of 10 years experience and in-depth demonstrated knowledge of SIGINT Development analytic support

Within the last 10 years, a minimum of 7 years experience in at least four (4) of the specializations listed below:

  • Signals Analysis

  • Modern Tele-communications System and Networks:

  • Telephony Switching System:

  • Communications Systems

  • Cellular/Personal Communications Systems:

Within the last 10 years, a minimum of 5 years experience in at least nine (9) of the customers databases/tools in the following categories

  • Circuit

  • Packet

  • Environmental

Demonstrated expertise, specific to the customer and tools, in the following areas is required:

  • Digital network analysis and plug-in development

  • Environmental knowledge and target development

  • Understanding of modern telecommunications networks

  • Experience supporting customer operators and mission partners in sustaining and optimizing customer systems

Periodic on-call and OCONUS travel is required

This position will be located in Linthicum, MD with travel required up to 25% of the time. You will become part of Northrop Grumman's new classified program providing a Network Operations Center (NOC), a Security Operations Center (SOC) and encrypted network services to multiple customer sites. Roles and Responsibilities: * Operate and maintain a server infrastructure for a new classified program. The server environment will include physical servers in a High Availability Cluster environment, virtual severs, SAN storage and Fibre Channel switches. Servers will be Windows Server 2016 Operating System. * Provide regular contact and coordination with the architect, network engineers, and security analysts on the program * Use tools to monitor performance and provide status and solutions to growing needs * Design/implement changes resulting from change board or as needed * Review, test, and implement 1st and 3rd party patching as well as Security configuration hardening per RMF/JSIG requirements (STIGs) * Performs problem diagnosis on hardware, operating system, and/or applications. * Performs hardware and peripheral installations as required and troubleshoot problems. * Manages file and storage systems and disk space. * Manages virus protection system and update virus definitions on a routine basis. * Performs security audits on all classified networked and standalone computers on as directed. * Prepares security documentation for submission to Computer Security. * Develops and documents technical processes and procedures as needed. * Provide supplemental desktop support as required. Basic Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years' experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. 2. Advanced experience with Windows Server 2016 3. Experience managing Microsoft Exchange 4. Experience with one or more of these Microsoft technologies: Skype, WSUS, IIS, SQLServer 5. Experience with one or more of these monitoring technologies: SolarWinds, Splunk, Nessus/ACAS 6. Experience working with RMF from an IT perspective 7. Experience operating, maintaining, and updating physical and virtual servers (Hyper-V) in a data center environment 8. DoD 8570 certification (e.g. Security , CEH, or CISSP) required 9.
