This posting is to establish an eligibility list for openings for the 2024-2025 school year at our various High Schools.

This posting is to establish an eligibility list for openings for the 2024-2025 school year at our various High Schools. The Anaheim Union High School District is seeking a strong leader to serve as the site principal of a comprehensive high school.

The district seeks a leader who: • Has the ability to implement district-wide initiatives, Board policy and state and federal mandates at the site level; • Has successful leadership experience as an administrator in a high academic setting; • Is an acknowledged successful leader in the planning, development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of the instructional program at the site level; • Has the ability to lead the transition to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS); • Possesses the vision and commitment toward college and career readiness 21st century skills for all students; • Believes in each person's potential for success and values diversity; • Promotes and develops leadership capacity of others through meaningful opportunities, collaboration and involvement; • Has a bias for action as an avenue for change; • Supports a culture of clear missions, objectives and goals; • Leads with honesty, empathy, kindness, fairness and integrity; • Develops positive labor relations with union leaders and site representatives; • Engages staff, parents, students and the school community in the work of the school site; • Embraces and implements effective use of technology to enhance instruction and improve administrative and management functions; • Oversees all school and ASB budgets and ensures all accounting procedures are administered; • Is a reflective leader committed towards ongoing professional growth and the CPSEL (California Professional Standards for Education Leaders).
