PURPOSE:

This position exists to provide the analytical and project horsepower to identify and implement projects that will directly improve the performance and alignment of our supply chains. This position will lead the analysis, planning, and implementation of focused and targeted projects to improve supply chain performance and inventory productivity.

This position will work on and lead projects within the scope of any Supply Chain area such as Demand Management, Supply Planning, or Inventory Management. The Supply Chain leadership team will determine the highest leverage projects to be attacked. This position will work as part of a coordinated, rigorous and structured Supply Chain CI program.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Provide analytical and project horsepower to lead and implement Supply Chain Continuous Improvement projects.

  • Conduct high quality analysis of supply chain operations and problems to identify continuous improvement initiatives. This includes analyzing the relationships between demand variability, service aspirations, inventory investment, supply operating fundamentals (lead time, lot size, etc.), and current business policies.

  • Provide detailed analysis of complex processes to identify solutions to problems while implementing improvements in and across the supply chain.

  • Successful implementation of solutions and change projects as measured by improvements in customer service, inventory, demand variability or cost.

TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

  • 6 Sigma Certification

  • Global Supply Chain knowledge/understanding

  • Inventory Planning

  • Project Management Skills

  • Strong SAP knowledge

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum - Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years related experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing

  • Preferred Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management with 10+ years' experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing

This position will support our Applied Fluids Technology Division (AFTD) in North Canton, Ohio. Products from AFTD are used to dispense high performance coatings and foams used in insulation and industrial coatings. This division also includes advanced fluid dispense systems used in alternative energy, automotive and packaging industries. JOB PURPOSE Ensure that network connectivity is provided through installation and support of personal computers, coordinating these efforts with the Information Systems Technical Support department as required. Provide customer assistance in resolving hardware/software problems for supported products on the Graco network, coordinating outside services where appropriate. Assist in the implementation and provide ongoing support for IT business solutions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES * Install and maintain reliable network configurations according to the network plan and design provided by the LAN Administrator and Network Manager. * Provide end users with timely network support and assistance relative to the computing environment. * Respond appropriately to Helpdesk calls, either directly or by referring to appropriate resources in relation to IT issues. * Ensure timely completion of PC/printer installations and/or changes. * Schedule, perform and/or coordinate all computer equipment changes. This also involves direction for installation of appropriate cables and computer equipment. * Troubleshoots PC/printers when required. * Serves as a communication link between Information Systems and the user community for installations, moves and changes to the computing environment when required. * Responsible for the execution of other related duties, as may be assigned by the End User Computing Manager. * Participate in conversion/special project activities coordinated through the Operations, Technical Support, Development and PC Support departments * Assist in the reviewing and evaluating new software and hardware, as it becomes available. * Assist in maintaining procedures documenting listed activities. * Maintain the networking closets in accordance with network modification. * Help perform problem identification and resolution activities on all network equipment, initiating corrective action as required. * Perform setup and installation of PCs onto the network. * Perform setup of VOIP phones and IOS mobile devices. * Provide Helpdesk support for PC related issues. * Other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Essential: * 2 year technical degree or equivalent. * 3-4 years experience in network related field. * Good verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service orientation. * Good organizational, analytical and problem solving skills. * Understanding of networking and Active Directory. * Extensive knowledge of standard PC software (i.e. Microsoft Office). Desirable: * Undergraduate degree in MIS or equivalent. * In depth understanding of networking. * Experience with Mac/IOS equipment. * Basic knowledge of end-user computing environments, including Oracle.
