Principal Sales Compensation Analyst
About the role:
The Principal Sales Compensation Analyst will develop, design, generate and administer sales incentive compensation plans/programs and territorial sales quotas for all field sales personnel. You will create sales incentive cost strategic plan and annual forecast/budget. by developing analyses to measure effectiveness of incentives and territory design. You will lead and faciliate various projects or assigned responsibilities in a fast paced and dynamic environment that has broad impacts across the business unit. Work closely with operational teams, national sales team and leadership in a highly visible role. Understand the broad scope of work and implications of decisions and how to implement and faciliate the outcomes of the decsions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide analysis and make recommendations to senior sales management on utilization of sales incentives and quota to influence behaviors and drive sales force performance.
Develop/design sales incentive compensation plans.
Analyze and prepare individualized employment contracts.
Analyze utilization of individualized employment contracts.
Prepare and control commission incentive forecast and budgets for domestic sales divisions.
Evaluate current processes and interaction across divisional teams and partner to revise processes in order to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Gather surveys and account information from sales force for use in quota generation and strategic plan.
Develop territorial sales quotas based on performance history, territory potential data and sales management input.
Work with sales management to allocate quota to all levels of the sales force.
Work with IS to troubleshoot compensation and quota systems, data, and processes to ensuring optimal utilization of the systems.
Conducts statistical analysis on sales data and information to ensure optimal sales execution and attainment of growth objectives.
Make recommendations to management to improve processes and support for the sales force.
Processing and reporting of compensation, revenue and quota and hierarchy
Provides sales compensation reporting and analysis to sales team
Manages sales compensation budgeting and accruals
Modifications and enhancements to related sales compensation systems
What we're looking for in you:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics or related discipline.
8+ years of finance, sales support and/or related analytical work experience
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, advanced skills with Access, PowerPoint and Word.
Must be a team player and be able to work with a positive attitude in the fast-paced world of sales.
Individual should be able to build long lasting relationships with key contacts at all levels of the sales and BSC organization
Detail-oriented but can manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Individual should be able to balance short-term, urgent needs with long-term strategic initiatives
