Principal Sales Compensation Analyst

About the role:

The Principal Sales Compensation Analyst will develop, design, generate and administer sales incentive compensation plans/programs and territorial sales quotas for all field sales personnel. You will create sales incentive cost strategic plan and annual forecast/budget. by developing analyses to measure effectiveness of incentives and territory design. You will lead and faciliate various projects or assigned responsibilities in a fast paced and dynamic environment that has broad impacts across the business unit. Work closely with operational teams, national sales team and leadership in a highly visible role. Understand the broad scope of work and implications of decisions and how to implement and faciliate the outcomes of the decsions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide analysis and make recommendations to senior sales management on utilization of sales incentives and quota to influence behaviors and drive sales force performance.

  • Develop/design sales incentive compensation plans.

  • Analyze and prepare individualized employment contracts.

  • Analyze utilization of individualized employment contracts.

  • Prepare and control commission incentive forecast and budgets for domestic sales divisions.

  • Evaluate current processes and interaction across divisional teams and partner to revise processes in order to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Gather surveys and account information from sales force for use in quota generation and strategic plan.

  • Develop territorial sales quotas based on performance history, territory potential data and sales management input.

  • Work with sales management to allocate quota to all levels of the sales force.

  • Work with IS to troubleshoot compensation and quota systems, data, and processes to ensuring optimal utilization of the systems.

  • Conducts statistical analysis on sales data and information to ensure optimal sales execution and attainment of growth objectives.

  • Make recommendations to management to improve processes and support for the sales force.

  • Processing and reporting of compensation, revenue and quota and hierarchy

  • Provides sales compensation reporting and analysis to sales team

  • Manages sales compensation budgeting and accruals

  • Modifications and enhancements to related sales compensation systems

What we're looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics or related discipline.

  • 8+ years of finance, sales support and/or related analytical work experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, advanced skills with Access, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Must be a team player and be able to work with a positive attitude in the fast-paced world of sales.

  • Individual should be able to build long lasting relationships with key contacts at all levels of the sales and BSC organization

  • Detail-oriented but can manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

  • Individual should be able to balance short-term, urgent needs with long-term strategic initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Medical device experience

  • Anaplan experience

Sales Operations Manager II, Coronary Therapies About the role: The Sales Operations Senior Manager will lead the Coronary Therapies (CT) Sales Operations team. You will be responsible for executing sales strategy and enable success of the sales organization by delivering exceptional support and leadership of selling activities in the field sales organization through commercial strategies, reporting mechanisms and process optimization. Your responsibilities will include: * Lead and develop a high functioning Coronary Therapies Sales Operations team, while sharing best practices with peers for broader success across Interventional Cardiology. * Using data and sales analytics, identify trends in reporting to enable success of the CT Sales Team. * Develop a strong network to understand changing landscape of the Coronary Therapies market in order to lead strategy 6-12 months in the future. * Provides leadership on day to day tasks for team members. * Sets consistent policies with respect to field sales support activities. * Defines field sales plan allocation and maintenance processes. * Optimizes existing processes through appropriate use of technology. * Provides field sales management with reporting and mechanisms relative to field sales personnel performance. * Implements new processes as they become relevant for the selling organization. * Supports divisional aspects GPO and IDN sales negotiations through price modeling, trending and comparison. * Assists in setting long term information technology goals for the selling organization. * Lead team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals. * Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization. * Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. * Facilitate strategic alignment within organization and lead divisional effort to address short and long-term business challenges. * Provide financial analysis in support of Strategic and Annual Operating Plan deliverables. * Monitor and analyze sales performance trends and communicate forecasts to franchise and sales leadership.
