Are you looking for a high visibility, high impact role? What to join a team that is in the early stages of rolling out an internal product that will be used across Amazon Web Services (AWS). The AWS Investments Worldwide Revenue Operations team is looking for a Sr. Business Operations Manager. The AWS Investments platform connects our business to resources they need to service our customers in the most efficient way possible.

In this role, you will be responsible for building the team, processes, and shaping the product roadmap that will change how we currently manage a multi-billion dollar portfolio.

To be successful in this role you must have an ability to build consensus, exert influence and evangelize your ideas with stakeholders and senior leadership. You must be a strategic thinker that can effectively communicate complex and nuanced business challenges both verbally and written. Having knowledge of all parts and functions of a large organization is required. You must be able to speak product and P&L. You will tirelessly pursue process improvement and changes to the platform that help our customers and AWS grow. You are a self-starter that is able to thrive in an ambiguous and shifting landscape. You are an owner that roles up their sleeves and is not afraid of diving deep into the details. Experience in cloud service operations, finance, or sales is a plus, but not required.

Your responsibilities will include building and managing an IoT opportunity pipeline focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration of IoT in the cloud. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record and background that enables them to lead a sales effort that will include teaming with AWS senior enterprise Sales Representatives, Solutions Architects, Partners and engagements at the CxO level within the largest AWS accounts. The ideal candidate will have both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as a technical understanding that enables them to easily interact with developers and architects. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must. +5 years of technology related sales or business development experience Drive revenue and market share for AWS IoT. Experience working with partners and OEM's to around IOT solutions Experience managing contract negotiations along with the core sales organization. * Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. . Drive revenue and market share for AWS IoT. * Develop and execute against a sales plan. * Maintain a robust sales pipeline. * Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts. * Ensure customer satisfaction. * Expect moderate travel. * BA/BS degree required. * A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus. * Direct field & management experience in working with enterprise accounts. * Strong verbal and written communications skills. * Extensive customer network. * Strong leadership skills. * Proven track record of success driving adoption of disruptive technologies within enterprise accounts.
