Principal Recruiter, Product Management

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process. This will include creating compelling position descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, marketing Capital One's talent brand to attract top talent, screening candidates, advising hiring managers on the recruiting process, and negotiating job offers

  • Source stellar candidates. Look beyond direct applications and leverage search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market

  • Provide a great end-to-end recruiting experience for candidates and hiring managers

  • Advise clients and leadership on market trends and recommend more effective ways to attract and recruit great talent

  • Develop candidate pipeline strategies to fill open positions (i.e., talent marketing,

  • LinkedIn sourcing, referrals, etc.)

  • Consult with hiring managers on their talent needs

  • Conduct job interviews and facilitate post-interview feedback meetings to aid in candidate selection

  • Create and extend job offers and close identified candidates

  • Leverage recruiting data to proactively provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3 years of experience in recruiting OR 3 years of experience in human resources OR 3 years of client consulting experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience independently partnering with leadership on hiring initiatives

  • Prior experience consulting with multiple hiring managers at once while developing and enhancing excellent working relationships with those managers and their teams

  • Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse HR talent

  • Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring

As a Principal Associate on the Team, you will help to lead the horizontal risk and controls governance activities activities across US Card Customer Resiliency. You will help to support a well managed risk and controls agenda by leading risk governance forums, enhancing existing processes, provide visibility into process activities, while collaborating with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of governance process to timely execution. We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined professional who excels in a team environment and is an expert in process management. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate a team in delivering flawless execution of process improvement. General Responsibilities/Expectations: * Provide subject matter expertise on governance processes when representing the department * Collaborate with business partners to deliver the business strategy through well-managed processes * Drive process improvement focused on desired customer outcomes * Maintain and develop dashboards and reporting * Guides business customer through CR Risk Governance and supporting activities * Communicates timelines and next steps for control suite changes and holds others accountable to deliverables * Makes recommendations and provides guidance to the business * Understands and utilizes all Risk Management tools and systems available * Lead risk management activities including issue identification/resolution, and process risk assessments * Supports audit, exam and testing deliverables throughout the year * Coordinates, influences and negotiates to ensure timelines are met and projects move forward by building strong relationships with the business, legal, compliance, and fulfillment groups * Demonstrated outstanding communication, relationship building across cross-functional teams * Strong problem identification, resolution and analytical abilities * Lead and coach a small team of risk associates Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree or Military experience * At least 2 years of experience in Process management and Project management Preferred Qualifications: * Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification * At least 2 years of experience in Operations Management or Risk Management * At least 4 years of experience in Process Management and Project Management * At least 2 years experience in management of multiple projects concurrently in an autonomous environment * At least 2 years people management At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
