Requirements / Qualifications

• Appropriate administrative credential.

• Minimum of 3 years of continuous, full time,active employment in public school system preferred.

• California teaching credential.

• Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability.

• Prior successful administrative experience preferred.

• Masters Degree preferred.

• Formal Letter of Introduction

The Plumas Unified School District covers almost all of Plumas County. The school district ADA is around 1,700. The Plumas Unified School District encompasses about the same area as the State of Delaware. It is approximately 80 road miles from Chester Junior/Senior High School in the north to Portola Junior/Senior High School on the eastern boundary. Each community has a clearly defined personality and identity that makes it unique.
