Primary Responsibilities:

  • Experience in Agile methodology

  • Define, gather, and analyze system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases for large clinical IT initiatives

  • Ability to write test plans, test cases, and execute tests within a distributed environment

  • Manage defects and help drive defect resolution

  • Assist business users in defining user acceptance testing

  • Develop in-depth system and application knowledge to provide higher test quality and coverage Experience working directly with business users

  • Experience in creating test data requests from upstream applications for SIT

  • Establish and maintain test cases and test data

  • Hands-on in creating/debugging/enhancing different automation frameworks

  • Create and maintain test cases in a test management tool such as ALM

  • Actively participate in walk - through, inspection, review and project meetings

  • Work with business users, business analysts, and developers to create and analyze various required project documents

  • Participate in production implementation verification and accountable for validating system quality

  • Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects

  • Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and / or functionality

  • Create automation test scripts using automation tools such as Selenium and UFT

  • Update already existing automation scripts as per change requests

  • Assist in estimating testing efforts and providing status updates

  • Travel to client sites 50% of the time

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 7-9 years of quality assurance and / or automation testing experience

  • 5-7 years of using HP ALM or other test management tools

  • Experience in automation tools such as Selenium and UFT and scripting methodologies

  • Knowledge of Jenkins and / or Rally

  • Experience with testing of EMR/EHR systems

  • Solid experience in all areas of the development life cycle

  • Prior experience in QA activities on high volume data projects

  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies

  • Travel to client sites 50%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience (clinical)

  • 1 years of experience with DevOps

  • Project Management experience/knowledge

  • Working knowledge of CI/CD practices (Jenkins), Sauce Labs, and Service Virtualization

  • Hands-On experience with Selenium, Cucumber, JBoss, Maven, TestNG

  • HTML, CSS & JS knowledge

  • Able to work effectively with senior management

  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and coordination skills

Software Engineer – Business Intelligence – Minneapolis, MN Position Description The Software Engineer – Business Intelligence will develop, create, and modify computer applications software. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design SSAS cubes including tabular models and analytical models. Perform cube performance tuning tasks. Work in an agile environment and participate in sprint planning sessions. Design and customize software for client use to optimize operational efficiency. Create reports using SSRS and other industry tools. Assess existing and available data warehousing technologies and methods. Maintain the reliability of the database by developing and implementing standards and processes for database maintenance, documentation, and configuration. Collaborate with developers to design, develop, test, maintain, and support the data architecture to ensure optimal performance and reporting flexibility while maintaining data warehouse quality standards.
