Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.* THIS POSITION CAN BE REMOTELY BASED WITHIN THE UNITED STATES*Purpose:You will support Substation and Transmission projects with focus on electrical protection and control activities for Worley and its Customers as an integral part of the Power Networks team.Responsibilities:
Independently perform tasks that typically include: * Technical execution of complex protection and control project assignments applied to both brownfield and greenfield projects for various clients * Preparation of engineering drawings and documents, calculations, and other miscellaneous deliverables as required * Supervise/coordinate other engineers of equal and lesser experience to successfully deliver a project * Complete tasks in accordance with project procedures, applicable codes and/or standards, on schedule and within budget * Discuss technical problems and communicate effectively with other project personnel and outside Customers * Perform independent audits and reviews of technical work * Perform proposal preparation, proposal estimates, and provide input to scope documents and client presentations * Perform the function of a team leader that is capable of solving complex issues and act as a lead engineer responsible for the quality of the deliverables * Work in a team-oriented environment with ability to work independently or as part of a group when and as required * Interface with other departmental staff, project management, and with outside Customers * Ability to travel to job sites to perform site walkdown * Responsible for the quality assurance of the documents to the applicable drawing standards and responsible for the proper document management procedures are followedWhat you will bringTechnical and Industry Experience: * Extensive experience in protection and control engineering for switchyards and substations including supervisory experience (up to and including 500kV voltage class stations)* Experience working in project leadership role * Experience in estimating project costs and writing proposal content * Has a competent understanding of regulations, electrical codes, manufacturing standards and industry standard practices * Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite * Self-motivated, organized, and be able to work independently. * Ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal and written communication skills that permit working efficiently alongside senior substation engineers and designers in a team setting.Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Tr
