About the Team :

Our TSG COO team oversees all functions across business management to support TSG in day to day activities. We provide governance over TSG organizational health, cost transparency and recovery, and product management. Our team oversees the end-to-end portfolio planning and execution across TSG as well as ensures the flow of accurate, timely, and relevant information within, across, and beyond TSG.

Role:

As a Program Manager, Vendor Management on the TSG's Chief Operating Office team, you will be pivotal in driving a bias for action culture across strategic vendor support and procurement teams in a dynamic environment. You will own the SOW execution by working with various internal groups as well as external teams. You will partner closely with your stakeholders and engagement managers to launch new initiatives, continuously improve the customer experience, and deliver operational excellence and key business outcomes through scalable solutions.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in vendor management from technology industry.

  • An independent contributor who would be driving the process for TSG's Chief Operating Office

team by interacting with internal and external business teams.

  • The Manager Vendor Management is responsible for developing and leading/overseeing the SOW

management strategies, procedures, and processes for third-party vendors

  • This role will ensure that quality, compliance, and cost- effectiveness of work delivered via third

party vendors meet TSG's performance and quality expectations

  • Builds collaborative partnerships with Strategic Vendor Partnership as well as procurement teams

continuously improve deliverable quality and drive cost effectiveness

  • Manages the relationship and performance of the quality monitoring vendor

  • Provides guidance and direction to Engagement Managers to achieve budgeted targets and

continues improvements

  • Develops and implements strategies that generate increases to overall customer satisfaction as

well as customer relationship retention

  • Responsible for continuously evaluating all vendor engagements and making recommendations to

improve efficiency and maximize performance

  • Works closely with TSG CAOs and Engagement Managers in the development of performance

expectations and KPI management .

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work

experience is required

  • Around 7 years of experience in software development is required.

  • Passion for developing enterprise-scale web applications with 15000+ concurrent users.

  • Experience building near real-time dashboards, data visualization and targeted refresh of data on

screen.

  • Experience with WEBSOCKETS or similar asynchronous browser streaming technology.

  • Experience building large volume real time application with Kafka streaming is preferable.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

  • Experience designing and developing complex web applications using

Java, SpringBoot, MicroServices. Having experience in Big Data ecosystem, MongodDB. Kudu,Oracle a plus.

Leads and provides direction and guidance for a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to client specifications. Responsible for the overall success of projects. Leads end to end project management activities such as reporting, planning, issue / risk tracking, work breakdown structures, scheduling effort estimation and tracking, other project documentation preparation and turnover to production. Ensures work is performed within the program and project management policies, standards, procedures and frameworks with established tools and techniques routinely used for project management. Measures and monitors project actuals, forecasts and budgets and updates plans with accurate, up-to-date information in a timely manner. Follows financial standards & processes (e.g. monthly external revenue accruals, software capitalization, procurement & external payments). Reports financial information and status to the required executive level through steering committees. Secures, leads, motivates and inspires the internal & external resources required to deliver the project. Establishes the project governance (e.g. sponsors, approvers, stakeholders). Manages Project Resources. May have leadership responsibility for Project Team members. Serves as a liaison between clients and internal groups to ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification. Has regular contact among peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations. Provides advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes and firm or business unit strategy. No direct reports. May guide other Project Management support staff. Contributes to the achievement of function objectives. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements. Bachelor's degree, preferably in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is beneficial. 10 - 12 years of related program and/or project management experience required. Experience with operations, technology and/or financial services industry is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
