The Headlines:

In the role of Principal Project Manager working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Project Implementation team. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, and managing the implementation of the leadership approved capital projects. The majority of the projects associated with this position are in the company's 8 major breweries, as well as the Leinenkguel brewery, the various Pilot breweries, and malting and grain handling facilities across the network, and may be managed at the various barley research areas, farms, and distribution centers.

This position reports to the Sr Manager Brewing Design and works closely with the Brewery Supply Chain teams.

The Responsibilities:

  • Provide the project management expertise required to implement a variety of projects necessary, including reviewing alternate delivery methodologies

  • Recommend alternative courses of action and determine the resource requirements to successfully implement the approved solution

  • Execute projects within budget and schedule requirements, and managing the scope change process within established guidelines

  • Ensure that completed projects meet corporate quality and other applicable standards

  • Manages, mentors, and directs the efforts of consultants and contractors in completion of the assigned projects

  • You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.

  • You possess a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; MS Engineering or MBA preferred

  • You have highly advanced knowledge and a demonstrated expertise in: electrical, instrument, and automation control systems; brewing process and utilities; warehousing and distribution; and facility planning and design

  • You have a minimum of 15 years of experience in leading large and complex capital project executions, of which a minimum of 4 years of brewery experience is preferred

Synopsis: The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who is experienced at optimizing data platforms and building them from the ground up. The Principal Data Engineer will support developers, architects, analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout projects. The candidate must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the needs of multiple teams, systems and products simultaneously. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimizing and re-designing NM's data architecture to support our next generation of products and data initiatives.
