In the role of Principal Project Manager working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Project Implementation team. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, and managing the implementation of the leadership approved capital projects. The majority of the projects associated with this position are in the company's 8 major breweries, as well as the Leinenkguel brewery, the various Pilot breweries, and malting and grain handling facilities across the network, and may be managed at the various barley research areas, farms, and distribution centers.
This position reports to the Sr Manager Brewing Design and works closely with the Brewery Supply Chain teams.
Provide the project management expertise required to implement a variety of projects necessary, including reviewing alternate delivery methodologies
Recommend alternative courses of action and determine the resource requirements to successfully implement the approved solution
Execute projects within budget and schedule requirements, and managing the scope change process within established guidelines
Ensure that completed projects meet corporate quality and other applicable standards
Manages, mentors, and directs the efforts of consultants and contractors in completion of the assigned projects
The Other Qualifications :
You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy
You have the ability to take the primary leadership role for large and complex project implementation programs, and demonstrate the ability to teach and mentor staff
You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.
You possess a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; MS Engineering or MBA preferred
You have highly advanced knowledge and a demonstrated expertise in: electrical, instrument, and automation control systems; brewing process and utilities; warehousing and distribution; and facility planning and design
You have a minimum of 15 years of experience in leading large and complex capital project executions, of which a minimum of 4 years of brewery experience is preferred
