This position is for Operations Program Management of the Horizontal Technology Integration Integrated Product Team (IPT) and specifically supports multiple HTI production program contracts. The OPM role is responsible for overall performance management of program production activities at the SAS McKinney Consolidated Manufacturing Center. Responsibilities include development of build plans, resource loading, and management of factory performance metrics related to programs. The position will provide Estimate at Completion (EAC) and variance analysis for the respective programs. The role will require frequent involvement in the proposal strategy and pricing development process, working alongside program managers and the cost estimating team. The position interacts daily with functional resources and factory to ensure production requirements are met. Serves as the primary program contact on status and performance and anticipates customer needs to ensure their satisfaction.

Specific tasks include:

  • Responsible for planning and coordinating to ensure that all program requirements are met

  • Point of contact for factory

  • Responsible for monitoring actual material requirements and interfacing with all the factory Points of Contact (POC's) for material demand.

  • Expected to interact daily with the program and factory management to understand and resolve any gaps in performance

  • This position will be responsible for developing and tracking metrics in support of factory performance

  • Responsible for the overall cost, quality, schedule and process excellence performance of the program.

  • Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 6 years hands-on program and/or project leadership experience, to include a combination of Production operations/ manufacturing, earned value management systems, cost and schedule tracking, risk and opportunity

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across the organization

  • Experience with the implementation, management, planning, and engineering efforts associated with a manufacturing organization

  • Experience with manufacturing planning/scheduling, and lean manufacturing concepts

  • Ability to interface across all functions and lead cross functional teams

  • Ability to support multiple projects

  • Must be proficient in and be able to perform material demand analysis, determine product/depot build status, RTV status, equipment history, and configuration

  • Excellent MS Excel skills with ability to use pivots and VLOOKUP

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment

  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of business systems, engineering, manufacturing, and financial systems

  • Prior Radar and Surveillance Systems

  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification

  • Factory analysis and optimization skills

  • Experience with Raytheon processes such as IPDS, EVMS, R6s, SAP, MMIS and VM

  • Experience in the following applications:

  • APEX - To monitor shipping/delivery status, future business loads, validate CAST.

  • Common PDM - To validate As-Built configurations, alternates, ECNs, and change history

  • Kinaxis - For material load and ITD/ETC material analysis

  • BW For SFC/Operation/program history, NC history

  • Required Education:

Bachelor Degree in Business, Technology, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Math, Science or a related discipline

Desired Education:

A Master's degree in a related field
