Job Summary

Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC (Nightwing) is looking for a Principal Program Control Analyst to join our CODEX Business Unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. Nightwing is a leading provider of Cyberspace Operations, Vulnerability Research, Cyber Defense & Resiliency, Data Intelligence, Software Modernization, Engineering and systems integration solutions to military, homeland security, law enforcement and civil affairs markets worldwide.

This position will provide "cradle to grave" financial leadership and will be responsible for providing comprehensive, proactive, and innovative solution-focused financial business partnering with the integrated program team. Responsibilities will include program financial analysis, cost/schedule baseline measurement and analysis, invoice coordination and submission support, funding planning, Estimates at Completion (EAC's), forecasting, deliverable development/submission, Pricing follow-on efforts and new work, billing and unbilled reconciliations, contract close out, and ad hoc requirements as necessary.

Basic Qualifications

Typically requires bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field and a minimum 5 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years Program Control/Finance Analyst experience in a Defense Department contractor environment

Ability to work self-guided, proactively, and as a team member with minimal supervision

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Excellent spreadsheet skills a must

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of customers and organization

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to guide financial responsibilities in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and deliver on commitments

Previous experience developing financial forecasts, strategic plans, trend and variance analysis for assigned programs

Ability to effectively navigate the challenges and requirements in a multi-dimensional, matrixed organization

Experience with Cost Reimbursement type contracts, preferably with an Award Fee component

Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required prior to start date.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Desired Skills:

Previous experience using APEX (SAP) or Costpoint (Deltek)

Advanced Microsoft Office Tools/Skills (Microsoft Access, Power BI, Get/Transform Data, Power Query, vba)

Experience working on a large, multi-year contract with a relatively complex structure

Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP))

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
