Principal Product Marketing Manager, SMB
As a Principal Product Marketing Manager on the Creative Cloud team, this global role is responsible for defining the strategy and requirements to help significantly grow our Creative Cloud business within the Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment. The ideal candidate has experience building strategies to drive adoption, penetration and usage of SaaS products across small, medium and large businesses. The ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into tangible benefits and value propositions are crucial.
What you'll do
Clearly define the target audiences in this space, building a deep understanding of, and empathy with, the audiences in small, medium and large businesses through market research, insights and relationships with the customer base. Define the key attributes and motivations for customers, decision makers and purchasers in these businesses.
Define the business strategy, including offering strategy, pricing, channel strategy, partnerships, and geographic areas of focus. Drive where Adobe should place its bets, rally partner teams behind those key bets, and set clear KPIs to ensure those bets are working.
Rally partner teams behind the strategy, clearly communicating the strategy to internal teams so that they can build plans toward reaching the strategy. (Partner teams include Product Management, Campaign Marketing, Channel Sales, PR). Approve their plans to ensure the most effective path to reaching the strategy.
Develop value proposition, product positioning and messaging for the target segments and work collaboratively with internal teams (Campaign, PR, social, field, etc) to ensure its implementation across all customer and sales channels.
Ensure the strategy is working by monitoring KPIs, holding partner teams accountable for their piece of the puzzle, and ensuring that all pieces ladder up to the most effective path to the revenue and customer goals.
What you need to succeed
Have 8-10+ years of experience in product marketing, with specific experience in technology-driven brands targeting small, medium, and large businesses
Think strategically to drive long term product and market strategies
Extremely results oriented and data driven. Excellent at quickly digesting new data, both qualitative and quantitative, and guiding strategies based on these insights.
Have the ability to drive global, cross-functional initiatives and programs
Have an entrepreneurial mindset, approaching problems creatively and embracing rapid
Have a high bar for excellence in customer experience
Proven experience communicating and presenting data to stakeholders and senior executives
Be a results oriented self-starter with a bias for action
